How to Confront a Lying Contractor?

I own a vacation rental management company and have a contracted cleaning company that I use. We’ve been having a few issues with them lately so I decided to go check on their work at my largest luxury property. To keep it short, the cleaning wasn’t done appropriately and it’s obvious. I asked the cleaners to go back and quality check the property twice, they said they did it twice and that everything was good to go. I have smart locks so I know they never got near the property, much less checked and fixed it. I want to call out the owner of the company and her managers for lying to me, but the owner has her kids as her managers (22, 21, 19 are the kids) and I’m feeling iffy about reaming her in front of her kids. Should I call them all out together, or just her?

How do I know if my worker is actually delivering my flyers to house doors?

Hello I run a Renovation business in the UK and I am trying to expand after a couple of years. The idea is just to hand out flyers around housing estates in various neighbouring cities and towns. I plan on handing out 100's of leaflets so I have organised 3 lads to do it over the next couple of weeks. Young guys in their 20's just looking for a bit of pocket money. Decent lads. But then it dawned on me, how in God's name will I know if they even handed out the leaflets to peoples doors. What's to stop them firing them into the bin in the first town and then down to the pub. I suppose the question is how do I police this. I understand with cold calling there is a bit of an incentive to knock on doors because of bonus's etc. But with handing out leaflets, you'll be making the same money either way. Advice.

Need a good invoice program/app

My small business (seamless gutters)is taking off pretty well, this year I am already booked out to April.. I have formed my LLC and have a business checking acct. I need a good way to send a customer an invoice for their records and send me a deposit. Is there anything I can link to my acct so funds go to it?

Is my IT services company ripping me off?

I’m getting billed $43/user/month for Microsoft 365 standard for business. Looks like Microsoft charges $12.50 for it. I understand we need to pay more than that for them to service it and all that, just seems like a large upcharge. Would love your thoughts! Thank you

Simple payroll company

I am looking for an inexpensive payroll company to use. I am the only employee as of now with the possibility of hiring one other person down the road. So I do not need any fancy company to work with like ADP. Who can you folks recommend? I have had one recommendation of Gusto. They might be the least expensive but again, it's just me for right now.

Getting a line of credit?

Hi guys, looking for some advice on securing a line of credit for my business. It’s pre-rev so I know it will have to be personally guaranteed, not worried about getting approval on that front though (780+ credit score, no debts, 150k salary, 25k cash). I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations on where I can go to apply to the loan provider directly? We’re looking for around 20k. I wasted an hour on the phone w Seek Capital until I found out that their fees are 1k + 11% of the total line of credit amount, and 1k if we don’t accept any of their offers. I imagine there’s a way to skip them as the middle man. Thanks in advance!

Question for Employers / Employees on Funding Retirement Benefits for remote / intl workers?

I have a question for employers and for employees. I have seen a lot of companies that help employers and employees pay or get paid in different countries. But I’m wondering: \- what helps employers or employees contribute to employees retirement accounts or programs in different countries. My friend (USA) now working in France but his company (French with offices in US) said they can’t contribute to any retirement account for him in France or in the US. I am thinking that as more and more people work remotely, as more and more companies hire workers in different countries, it’ll become table stakes to offer retirement contributions / benefits in various countries as a perk, but is there anything that makes this easy right now?

Has anyone worked with influencers?

Has anyone worked with influencers? Do you think working with an influencer gets more brand awareness/sales than ads? If so can anyone please send me recommendations. I offer baby essentials that can be personalized with the baby’s name or initials (embroidered).
