Who is suppose to do the shipping at a startup company?
I am the mechanical engineer at a startup company. Recently, a few people left, a some of those responsibilities has fallen on me. I am now in charge of supply chain, a little project management and recently shipping. Shipping stuff out has been consuming a lot of my time. From finding boxes, packaging the stuff, loading it onto my car, and driving to ups or fedex. We dont have enough volume to need a full time shipping and logistics person, but its to the point where its starting to affect my ability to my actual job. I talked to my boss and he basically said to suck it up.

Saving my Small Business
Hi Everyone, I’m in a slippery position currently that I’m trying to catch up on. Middle of 2021 I made some expansions on my business that were meant to help my service brand move into a new sector. 9 months later I’m now struggling to stay afloat and I’m afraid I may lose it all. I currently am the owner/operator with no help whatsoever (labor wise). My family, friends, and clientele have put so much faith and support into me I’m worried if I can’t find a way to save my business I’ll fail. I used to employ 3 guys to help with the services however they took advantage of me and burned me. I went without personal pay for months hoping it would get better and while now I’m able to scrape by with just myself I’m afraid of running into some burnout and causing more damage. If anyone has any advice or ideas of what I can do to catch up. I’d greatly appreciate it. I’m going into my 4th year.

Looking to buy a small night club. I have no idea how to pay bands or sound people.
I come from the restaurant world and understand that we'll. The nightclub has a kitchen and a beautiful bar, that's my wheelhouse. What I don't get, is how to pay the talent and sound person. Is it best to pay the talent the cover and give them a drink discount? Do I eat the cost of the sound person or do I wrap them in on cover pay? I'm sure there are lots of ways to do this, I'm just not familiar.

Covid pay for sick employees and employees with Covid who have been able to work remotely
We’ve had a little covid breakout at work and a lot of my staff has come down with covid. Some have been hit super hard and are out but some have covid and still been able to log in and help remotely. I would like to pay them for the time they’ve missed (sick pay) but what about those who were sick and also able to work? Just pay them at normal rate? Thanks

A platform that converts written texts to visually appealing videos and flash cards to aid memorization for students #EdTech
I'm a visual learner and sometimes I struggle retaining information after reading written texts. I also know many students struggle with this. I'm thinking of a SaaS platform to help address this problem. Let me know what you think & if this is something you'd be interested in exploring as a Technical Co-founder.

Possibly purchasing a business, how do I determine the TRUE value?
So I'm looking into buying a business, and of course the business has their value based on projected earnings for 2021. Obviously projections are nice and all, but I need the real numbers. I know probably from years prior too. But my question is, **1. What information do I need to gather**, and **2. How have y'all determined the TRUE value of the business you are looking to acquire?** I talked to a consulting & accounting firm today and they said they can help, at the price of **$2,500-$4k** depending on how much help/advising I choose. I didn't know if that's something most ppl choose to do, or if they determine it themselves or what exactly. The last thing I want to do is pay $200k for something that I eventually find out is really worth $150k. But also, $2,500 minimum is a lot of money to shell out in the event that after determining value.. we decide no deal. LMK y'alls thought, ideas, opinions, etc. TIA

How do I unsubscribe from snail mail credit card offers for my small business ?
I tried using optoutprescreen.com but it appears it's specific for individuals. I opted myself out and tried to fill in details for my business which is difficult when they ask for things like last name and social (FEIN ?). There's no way to contact them by email with this questions... Has anyone had any luck opting out of credit card offers and other spam that's physically mailed in ? What would you recommend that I do ? My last ditch alternative is changing my mailing address of my business to a virtual mailbox (~$10/mo), then only forwarding mail that's not-spam to my real address. I'd prefer to this to be my last resort.

Where do I start? Food business
So I’ve always been told that I should open my own restaurant because I can cook. I love cooking and I’m thinking about this. I have a full time job so I don’t want to do anything drastic. Where do I start? I was thinking about getting my socials up and do a couple of market stalls to see how i go or maybe a food truck at an event. Any feedback?
