How would you respond to a customer being sarcastic about price?
I've just quoted a small project and the customer has told me he doesn't want it "diamond encrusted" and that the "price is ridiculous for the materials required". What would you even say to that? Our margin is about 37% after everything *direct* is accounted for. I know I should walk away but I've taken this too personally given the guy has been a customer before, I'm just wondering if his tone is lost on the email. It's pretty strongly worded though.

Quickbooks Payroll Opinion?
Just curious. I’m thinking of switching from ADP to quickbooks. ADP is far too expensive with a lot of hidden fees which I don’t like. I am the only employee in my biz and I currently have quickbooks for bookkeeping. I’m curious for anyone who has their payroll services to know what’s it like? Is it worth switching over?

Business Loans, Asset purchases - Already taxed or tax deferred?
If company A loans money to another company B. The money company A uses to give the loan, is that money already taxed (the business needs profit in order to be able to give the loan?) or is the money used for the loan tax deferred until the loan is repaid back to company A? Does it work the following way? For example Company A: Year 1 Tax Liability: $100,000 (Profits after expenses) Loan to Company B: $50,000 New Tax Liability $50,000 ($50,000 loan amount is deferred until the loan is repaid back to Company A + interest) Year 2 - Company B repays Company A Tax Liability increases by $50,000 + loan interest What I am confused on is the money given in loan or used to purchase an asset does that money need to be after-tax dollars. Thanks

What’s your personal experience on All-in-one growth revenue platforms?
I am looking for an all-in one growth platform that would be suitable for my startup. Something that’s convenient and has everything that I would be needing such as CRM, marketing, website maker and so on. You get the idea. I’ve researched popular options like Hubspot and Mail Chimp but they seem time consuming and I want one platform to work with. I’ve also read some comments on Hubspot how your mail to your clients can turn into spam, how true is that? I found cheaper options and would like to hear what you all think. I’d love recommendations for other platforms as well. [Sanity Desk](http://www.sanitydesk.com/?r=1) [SharpSpring](https://sharpspring.com/) [Keap](https://keap.com/)

Why would daycares be shutting down?
There is a local daycare that shut down, and our current daycare is shutting down. The official reason is 'construction to build a basketball court for their the church'. But if the daycare was profitable, they could rent a building and move everyone over. If I had to guess, they are having difficulty staffing the daycare. But if things are profitable, why not throw more money at it? Anyway, trying to figure out if there is an opportunity to hire the staff and get the parents to move to another location. I don't have a passion for daycare services, so I'd need to hire a director/president. Can someone give me a laundry list of reasons why the economics don't workout?
