Talk of inflation is enough to jangle the nerves of any investor — and there’s plenty of it around at the moment. A combination of factors is causing concern over rising prices: a big increase in money supply, central banks' determination not to choke off a recovery, and a possible post-pandemic consumer spending boom to name but a few. There are things you can do to prepare your portfolio beyond buying gold. See our tips at the link in bio.

Our workforce is burning out. And the pandemic has made things worse for many. A recent global study of 1,500 workers confirms it: people are facing mental health declines, challenges with meeting basic needs, and feelings of loneliness and isolation. The survey also noted increased job demands and growing disengagement at work. Swipe for some of the open-ended responses from the fall 2020 survey, which analyzed the state of burnout and well-being during Covid-19 — and read more at HBR.org/burnout.

Before Tesla's $1.5 billion Bitcoin investment, Elon Musk had a years-long flirtation with cryptocurrencies — mostly played out in tweets. He's kept market watchers guessing on whether he's invested — and how much. The billionaire's cryptic messages and tongue-in-cheek memes have had real-world consequences, from triggering double-digit surges in Bitcoin to helping turn Dogecoin into a $10 billion token. ● Another week, another Bitcoin moment. ⠀ ⠀ ● The cryptocurrency breached $48,000 for the first time after Tesla said in a filing it had invested $1.5 billion in the digital token and would begin accepting it as payment for products.⠀ ⠀ ● The move is another signal that Bitcoin is knocking on the door of mainstream acceptance. Last year PayPayl started allowing its customers to use Bitcoin. Advocates say vocal sponsorship from the likes of Tesla will supercharge the pace of adoption, but skeptics say there is still no evidence the enthusiasm for crypto is anything more than speculative mania.⠀ ⠀ ● Read more about the other investments that made a splash this week by clicking the link in our profile.

Yelp doesn't help small businesses so lets help each other out!

I own a small business called Rosewood San Diego which is a shoe store in San Diego. Yelp has been deleting all the positive reviews and leaving all the shitty ones. How come customers can lie or exaggerate without any repercussion? I say we fight back! If anyone writes my store a positive review and tells me here, I will write a positive review for your business. I believe we can all help each other out here since Yelp wants us to pay them to get out rating up. Is anyone here with me?!?

● Elon Musk wants to have a chat with Vladimir Putin.⠀ ⠀ ● The chief executive officer of Tesla and SpaceX tweeted at the Kremlin’s official Twitter account, asking if the Russian president wanted to join him for a conversation on Clubhouse, an app that allows people to create digital discussion groups.⠀ ⠀ ● Earlier Saturday, Clubhouse said it was reviewing its data security practices after the Stanford Internet Observatory found potential vulnerabilities in its infrastructure that could allow external access to user audio data.
