Ben Felix Proposed Five-Factor ETF Model Portofolio

Ben Felix put a new video where he presents his optimized ETF portfolio by using the five-factor risk model. I summarized in this table the etfs from his paper that excluded the avantis etfs because retail investors cannot buy it yet. |Fund|Ticker|Weight| |:-|:-|:-| |iShares Core S&P/TSX Capped Composite ETF|XIC|30%| |Vanguard US Total Market ETF|VUN|40%| |iShares Core MSCI EAFE IMI Index ETF|XEF|22%| |IShares Core MSCI Emerging Markets IMI Index ETF|XEC|8%| The simulated average return of this portfolio over the last 20 years is 11.93%. In comparison S&P 500 returned 5.9% on average per year.

Looking for SMS text-to-purchase software and integrations

Hello everyone. I’m looking for software where users can text a phone number to place orders which will then be shipped to their homes. Does anyone have any recommendations for text to order services? For example, say I’m selling coffee. A customer can have a conversation with the software to place more orders. They would preregister their credit card on the website so it’s linked to their phone. The conversation would go like this: Shop: Did you like the coffee you ordered last week) (Yes/No) Customer: Yes S: Do you want to order more? C: Yes S: How many bags? C: 2 Then their order will be automatically placed and credit card charged appropriately. Does anyone have recommendations for software or integrations that have this kind of functionality? It would be nice if I could somehow link this with Shopify, Square, Wix, etc. EDIT: I’m also on mobile and the alternate flairs won’t load. I didn’t choose the current flair and I’m not sure why that was auto assigned.

Anyone have success doing a pre-sale for their business?

I plan on doing a pre-sale for my products. The pre-sale will last about a month. Do I ship the orders after I close the pre-sale and how long before my official launch?

Need Help/Advice with a fraudulent company

Hello everyone, I am an owner of a vape/smoke shop. A very big and reputable wholesaler of mine sent me an order that was incorrect, I was told I would be credited upon arrival of shipping the inventory back. I shipped it back, inquired about it for weeks and got minimal responses then finally last week, the sales rep told me they only received $180 in items out of the $2000 I shipped back. I filed a report with the BBB and started a claim on my card, is there anything else I can do? Thank you

Online Payments

Hello! I own a small service based business and was wondering what is the recommended online payment app to relieve money from without high fees. We have looked at a few apps like Cash App, Venmo, etc., but they all have super high fees with them. We don't care about getting the money that day, it can be a few days but as long as we get it. So what is the best payment app that we get to keep the money that we earned? The business is small and just starting up so we can't have the payment app take out a few dollars when we might make $15-$20 sometimes. Are the fees for getting the payment, or are the fees only for if you instantly transfer it?

Ryan Kaji is one of the most popular YouTube creators in the world. He's also 9 years old. His main channel has 29 million subscribers who watch him open new toys, exercise or do crafting project. For Ryan and his family, that audience has translated into millions of dollars in annual ad revenue — and many times more in sponsorship and merchandising deals. Ryan's success has inspired plenty of imitators, but translating views into commercial success isn’t always a smooth ride. Tap the link in bio for his story. (via buinessweek)

Please help me add a little bit of spice to my podcast name

I need a name for a podcast that I'm starting which is all about interviewing people with inspirational stories. Here's a couple that I thought about: \- Beautiful Stories \- Let's talk I don't know... These just don't do it for me. They seem so basic and bland. Can you help me add a little bit of spice?

Buying a service-based business

Does anyone have any experience buying (or selling) a small service-based business without any real assets? Just wondering how you structured the purchase (any money up-front? profit-sharing structure?) and any landmines to watch out for. Thanks in advance!

SBA for partial ownership?

Hello, My father-in-law is getting close to selling his business to myself and 2-3 other current Would an SBA loan be an option for buying a percentage of the business? I’m 34 years old, I’ll need $250-$350k, my credit score in the next two months should hit 730, and my current income from the business is about $90k per year. I don’t really have any collateral to put up since the business is financial planning.
