Home depot long term consideration

I've been watching Home Depot for some time, and almost daily over the last 45 days. Over the last few weeks it almost seems like their stock continues to increase by a dollar or two almost every day... I keep saying oh I'm going to invest... But instead I stick to my tech based companies, like Apple, Microsoft and some others... or VTI to keep it safe. Let's be honest, home depot isn't going anywhere, they have a strong hold on the market with respect to lumber, home renovations materials for contractors and the every day DIYers... They have an excellent balance sheet and great financials... So ultimate question, is it too late? Wait for a significant dip then invest? Or invest now? Or keep watching? Would love your folks opinion on home depot and long term growth....

Small Business Loan or Business Line of Credit?

My Wife and I are hoping to start a Small Toy Store in our community. I do not have the best credit (low 500s) at the moment and we cannot use hers due to being in the process of getting a house with hers. Should we try to get a small business loan or a line of credit to help with out initial funding? Are their other paths that we can take?

Looking at TA alone, the SPY looks like its going to correct to $300-$305 sometime this year

Just looking at average bull runs from 2010 until now, average rally is about one year before we have a significant drop of around 20-35% on average last major drop was 2018 with a drop of 60 points ATHs then last year witha drop of 120 points from ATHs IF we were to drop from these ATHs now, we would hypothetically see lows of around 300-305 on the SPY the more i look at this chart the more and more i see it being plausible, the same thing can be said about bitcoin as well Bitcoins monthly chart looks like its going to drop back to its previous highs of 20,000 from 2017, and by the looks of it it seems this month is the beginning of it

Made a mistake on covered call today

Hi guys - I had a question about covered calls. I have 120 shares of NIO and I recently discovered covered calls and played them last week. Today, I wanted to buy a normal call of $40 for 4/30. I ended up selling a covered call of $40 for 4/30 (fml). I'm very bullish on NIO this week since we have alot of catalyst coming up...so I'm a bit nervous NIO might go a above 40 and someone might exercise it. Is there any way I can do something about this? For example: can I buy a call or sell my covered call option or something? Thanks in advance.

Most people can’t identify which lifestyle decisions are the most effective at limiting their carbon footprint, according to an international survey of more than 21,000 people across more than two dozen nations shown in this chart by stevendbernard. Across all countries, people almost consistently ranked an avoidance of tumble dryers and a switch to low-energy lightbulbs as more effective ways to reduce individual emissions — rather than not owning a car or choosing a plant-based diet. From the list of options in our chart, which three do you think would most reduce the greenhouse gas emissions of an individual living in one of the world's richer countries? Click on the link in our bio to find the answer and go to ftclimate for more climate coverage. #ft #financialtimes #ftclimate #climate #climatechange #environment #environmentalcrisis #climateimpact

Clients Scheduling Themselves (Pros/Cons)

To keep it short, I run a tutoring center that primarily serves private sessions. We have about 10-15 consistent tutors, and see 80-100 students a week. We use Acuity for calendars and to sync with Quickbooks, but don’t have students schedule themselves. They usually just text me and I tell them what times are available. It’s getting to be too much, but it’s hard to justify a full-time secretary. For those of you who have clients schedule themselves, how is it going? Did it drastically reduce your need for back and forth communication? Did some clients find it too time consuming? TIA

My employees are unbelievably messy.

Title says it all, really. We run a very busy facility that employs about 40 people, and it seems like most people contribute to the mess in a very minor way - but the aggregate total is that our facility is full of trash and mess all the time. We are chronically understaffed, so generally speaking it seems like my employees are prioritizing the work at hand rather than cleanliness - which is sort of a good thing, but has created a deep-rooted cultural problem that I have not been able to shake for a few years. Even when staffing level is correct and we are caught up, no one makes any effort to actually improve the state of the plant. I have tried yelling, individual conversations, nice conversations, assigning managers, etc, and all falls flat on its face after about two weeks. Any ideas would be hugely appreciated.

Help starting a small website development company is Massachusetts

Hello and thank you in advance. I'm want to start a small business making websites for restaurants but I have no clue where to start. I want to start small and remain small for the time period as I plan on moving to another state in a year, and would like to do a "trial run." I just don't know how this could be done with taxes or legality . The first few websites I'm doing to make will be free to help build a portfolio, but after that I would like to start charging a few bucks and maybe have around 5 accounts. The problem I can see would be with contracts because of these sites would have online ordering capabilities, so would I need a lawyer as well ? Do I have to only pay taxes after a certain amount, or can I claim in during tax season? I'm just looking for a push in the right direction and already plan on doing more basic business research, so any book recommendations would be great as well. Thank you again.

PP Loan forgiveness through Chase - what am I doing?!

Hello, I took a small loan through Chase's PPP loan services. It is only 1300.00. I will use it to pay the rent on my office space this month in entirety. I see on my Chase account the loan says the first payment is due in a month....I only received the loan a month ago so I am now looking at the forgiveness application. I am trash at this type of stuff and Chase says they are forbidden to help. Anyone here use a service (a tax person, accountant) person or know what my first steps are?

Does anyone have experience with opening a "Neighborly" Franchise?

https://franchise.neighborlybrands.com/franchising-fundamentals/franchising-options/ They obviously have a huge stable of franchises that they own. I was curious if anyone here had any experience in opening one?

Small business owner looking to attract top talent locally, suggestions?

Like the title says I’m looking for any suggestions, anecdotes etc others can share on what they’ve done to attract talent in any field - doesn’t have to be mine in particular. I own a small automotive repair center in a small but growing town and am looking to hire some techs. I’m wondering if there is anything I can do differently or something I can offer in order to attract talent. Any and all suggestions welcome! Thank you

Podcast for my Business?

Would a podcast help out a business? I'm thinking something likely short, but doing it weekly to promote sales or answer/explain FAQs more in depth and post it on my website. Does anyone think this could help out?

Most entrepreneurs assume they know what customers want - those assumptions are based on instinct and experience. But intuition is no match for data. Think like a scientist and design experiments; test a hypothesis; then try again. @mastersofscale #MindsetChallenge
