Business Purchase Due Diligence

If you guys were going to buy a business for $1M. What kind of due diligence would you do? What would be enough and what would be too little? Based on conversations with brokers, it sounds like a lot of buyers just review the historical P&L and Tax returns. Then they go and ask the seller questions. But this feels like it's too little to me. I've also read that you should hire an accountant to review the financials with you but what is the extent of their work? I think they might do a Quality of Earnings or even a Proof of Cash but don't think they go as far as an Audit. Personally, I feel like an audit is necessary but I hear most people think it's too much for a small business. Obviously lawyers are hired as well to help with the transaction and they have their own due diligence. So reddit, what has been your experience?

Web 1 marked the birth of the internet. Web 2 allowed users to start contributing to it via social media — with little ownership of what they share. Web 3 is the new age that promises to give more power back to users. https://t.co/gHoMeRysvu

Can you actually grow you account by watching millions of instagram stories?

Hey I just found this video where this guy says you can get tons of followers by watching millions of stories a day? [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bn\_-9LIM3A](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bn_-9LIM3A) do you guys think this is for real or not? I kind of think viewing stories might not bring much but the way he explained it it kinda made sense. Just not sure if it’s wort it or not. What do you think?

Can I transfer money from my personal account into my business account to buy a laptop and write it off?

I have a two-member llc partnership, can I transfer personal money into the business bank account then use it to buy a laptop that I will be using for 75% business? Or can I buy it from my personal account and write it off as a business expense?

Opinion: In 2009, Buffett said of Wells: ‘If I had to put all my net worth in one stock, that would’ve been the stock.’ But now he owns none of it. What has changed – or perhaps, why has Berkshire Hathaway changed? https://t.co/N4jkuwsQB1

Would it be wrong for me to delete my post about a new niche I found in an industry-specific group I’m in?

So long story short, I’m in a Facebook group filled with owner operators for a certain business model. I found a niche within our specific industry, but I wanted to confirm if it’s something people in our industry could do, so I made a post to the community about it. Our industry is pretty competitive, and having a niche like this would really grant me a huge share of its market. I’m kind of concerned that now I “let out a secret” by my post as almost 100 other people are now interested in this niche and finding more info. The post is still up and still attracting other members. Would it be wrong if I just delete it to kind of keep the secret, secret??

Candidates work history

What type of questions do you ask when calling a candidate's previous employers? Are you allowed to ask about their salary or why they left the company? Do you have any good questions that might give you some insight into the candidate? I'll take any advice you have We are in Florida, btw.
