Trying to help my families restaurant to get sold...

My family owns a decent sized diner on a nice lot in a great location. They lease the property. They have a good business and are successful But cannot find a buyer to take over the business. They have been trying for several years to no avail. My question is, where can we go or how could we advertise to sell the rights to lease the property to a bigger corporation? This would be a perfect spot for a cvs, Walgreens, TD Bank, et cetera. The real estate agents that my family have been using are mostly trying to find other restaurant. /diner owners who are looking to buy an established diner. But this route has not been working. Any input or ideas are much appreciated.

how do you manage raw materials inventory?

I have a pet bakery & boutique and I track my product inventory via Shopify. But I need to be able to track my raw materials (ingredients) inventory so that I can make purchase orders when I reorder ingredients and so I can better track inventory and not go out of stock on anything. I'd also like to be able to track my bags that my treats go in as well and other miscellaneous stuff like that. Does anyone have any recommendations for what to use? I chatted with Shopify and they recommended an App called Materials Inventory but I'm not sure it's exactly what I need and it's also not free.

Hi all, I live in Kazakhstan, the city of 350-400 thousand people. ​ There is a business idea that I am now thinking through the details and prescribing, is to sell alcohol, my own alcoholic cocktails, ice in different shapes and sizes, as well as ice with flavors. Different sets and craft bottled beer with snacks. All this under one brand to sell around the city. ​ I think the prospect is good in this direction, people drink often, holidays, after work, weekends. Hi Everyone! My business is in contract manufacturing. I manufacture in Asia and send to the west mainly to Latin America. Current set up is my clients pay my partners directly, then my partners send me my cut. Now I want is my clients to pay me directly. Example: Export from China to Mexico, customer in Mexico pays my USA bank, then I pay my partner in China. Everything is paid in USD. I have three questions: 1- Why do so many people recommend Neobanks such as Wise? The fees are crazy high compared to BoA. Am I missing something? 2- I don't know/think a credit union is the right choice. Am I underestimating credit unions? 3- Do you have a bank you recommend? What are the benefits/reasons for using an attorney as the agent for a business?

I've been looking at some local businesses on my state's business records database and I've noticed that a few of them have the owner as the principal, but under "agent" there's an attorney, or law office. Our business has my wife and myself as the principals, and I'm also listed as the agent. Just thought I'd ask.

CALIFORNIA MULTI PERSON LLC QUESTION

What would be the best way to set up a LLC when there will be 8 owners and we are hoping to be able to pay each owner who will also be doing the actual work via 1099's. Would there be a problem setting up a S Corp since each owner needs to be paid a "reasonable salary" We are hoping to make it less complicated than having to deal with workmans comp and all the other things that come with having actual employees.

Question About Transferring Stake in my Family Business to my Daughter as a Gift

My sister and I own a business in Virginia 50/50. I would like to gift my half of the family business to my adult daughter. Is this a possible method of transferring my stake in the business to her in VA? My portion of the business would be less than the ~12 million dollar gift tax limit. Are there any tax penalties in gifting her my half besides if she were to sell it? If this were possible, what steps would I need to take to initiate this type of transfer? Thanks in advance!

How to contact yelp to dispute reported review?

I’ve already reported the review which violates privacy and has false information/slander, but yelp emailed me back and wouldn’t remove the review. I’m not the business owner. There is no business account. I’m just someone who works there who has my full name slandered on the internet to the public. It won’t let me report it again or add information. I have some points I’d like to give to yelp regarding why the review should be removed. Where can I contact them about this?
