Powerful, high-impact feedback conversations do three things: 1. Start with openness and humility. 2. Intend to help the employee grow, rather than to show them they were wrong. 3. Invite the employee into the problem-solving process. https://t.co/xgZG1BIzU4

£38,000 purchase order that’s in jeopardy of getting pulled
Hello small biz Reddit - I’m pretty worried (under statement) I took an order via purchase order for 10,000 items various different items. I have delivered 1,000 or about 30% of the value. But have 9000 items outstanding which makes up 70% of the PO. The items are running late because China freight is carnage and had a random spot check which meant they missed the flight out on the 9th. We have paid all manufacturers in full. They are for a promo event which is 4 weeks long - they are missing a week of giving out the hats. They should arrive in time for the final 4 weeks in full. I just checked the t and cs for the order and says they can cancel if they decide to and not pay if delayed etc. I am proposing some stand in items at a cost of £4000 ish to me which is not ideal but would rather that than get no money at all. What do you think ? Will they drag their heels ? What should I do to sort this ? Thanks from a young entrepreneur with big boy anxiety
