Laundry mat next door Problem
A family member of mine owns a small alteration shop. The laundry mat next door is leaking and the water got our carpet wet. The laundry mat’s owner is MIA. We put a ‘CLOSED FOR REPAIRS’ sign on their door so people don’t keep coming and using the washing machines. We don’t know what to do. We have the front door and back door open to circulate the air and we have fans going to dry our carpet. We honestly just don’t know what to do. I was hoping someone on here might have some advice on how to move forward. If I’m posting in the wrong sub, LMK and I’ll post elsewhere.
