What would you all do 1000 dollars

I am 17 years old and I think i’m about to work a seasonal job that usually ends up paying 1000 and i am curious to hear ideas on what to do with it. Is there anything i could start or invest in an idea?

Idea instead of needing AAA

A few years ago I had a problem with my car and decided to subscribe to AAA. Since then I barely used it and pretty much wasted money for the subscription. Most cases of AAA are flat tires, dead batteries, car keys left in the car etc. Many of these activities can be done by regular people. Perhaps one can make an app where users who have a flat tire etc can write it on their app and someone who knows how to fix it will come to help, similar to Uber. Instead of paying a yearly fee for AAA the users will only pay if they need the service. The ones who offer the service would give a cut to the company. Please tell me your thoughts.

Anybody else just quit shipping to EU and UK because of having to collect and remit VAT (from USA)?

I run a small leather goods company making everything here in the USA. In May of 2020 we discontinued all overseas shipping because of lots of lost or delayed packages the first few months of the pandemic. We were semi-ready to start shipping overseas again but we found out the UK and EU would each require us to register to send in VAT for any orders under $180 (or 150 Euros). Pre pandemic, we did maybe 20 orders a year to these countries, most under $100 (not counting shipping), so at the moment we thought it just too much of a pain for the hassle of dealing with 2 more tax authorities and paperwork. Anyone else done the same? For those of you who signed up has it been easy or kind of a hassle?

Addressing the question - what do you do for a living?

I opened a store about 2 years ago after quitting my corporate job making over 6 figures. I haven’t taken home a paycheck in the last 2 years, but have aggressively growing with the money. When someone asks me what I do for a living, I’m a little hesitant to answer since I went from making money to no money. It’s sometimes easier to just say I’m unemployed. Is this normal? What do you say when your a start up and you get asked this question?

Does anyone know the best software to create a journal cover design and inner page designs?

I can't really seem to find any good tutorials on how to create high-end cover designs. I found a template but the spine area to design looks really small for some reason?

Where is the best place to advertise your online business?

I know many places do not allow advertisement/personal promotion posts which is understandable. Does anyone had advice on where would be a good place to advertise?

ISO card system for customers that can charge to a card like a cruse ship room key, and give points back too, but customer pays for the charges when they leave. (No POS integration)

It exists, but how do I find it at a smaller scale?
