Client wants free shipping
I own a small art gallery with my family, from which I make a modest living from. In September I hosted a fundraiser for a local charity and many wealthy people attended. A customer bought a large $800 piece and asked us to keep it on display until she could pick it up. I asked her to give me a week heads up so I could package it for her. Fast forward to today and she calls me wanting to pick it up tomorrow but I am out of the country with the whole family. I told her I did not have an immediate solution and that I could hold it for her or refund her money (keep in mind we gave up 20% for the charity). She won’t take the refund and wants us to pay for the very expensive shipping. I need some advice on what I should do? I need to call her next week.

Looking for a simple timesheet app and striking out hard
Hi all, there are a million project management websites that do all kinds of great things, but it seems like they're missing some basic functions and are more designed to spy on employees. all i'm looking for is a timesheet app that: \- let's an employee type in the number of hours each week \- will automatically calculate if the person worked overtime that week \- has supervisor/admin approval for a timesheet \- tracks PTO hours for the employee Any leads on a simple timesheet system would be awesome. i'm fine with paying. i just want it to work. I've seen a bunch of people saying positive things about Tsheets but that was before Quickbooks bought them. seems like you need to have quickbooks to use that now, although i may be mistaken. thanks for the help!

How to sell a pre-revenue SaaS startup?
Hi All! I’m a tech founder from New York. I have developed a self-scheduling software that allows professionals to get booked for their services and get paid without the back-and-forth emails, and phone calls. I was planning to start raising capitals to grow my startup, but the lengthy process of fundraising kind of discouraged me. My focus right is directed towards something else. I was wondering what is the best way to sell a SaaS that’s not generating revenue yet, and if anybody out there would be interested in building up on someone else’s dream. I’m not sure what to do… any advice?

Making business eco friendly/sustainable
Do people generally struggle or don’t have the time to find/search for eco friendly (and affordable) aspects for their small business? Eg packaging, labels, ingredients, electronics etc If there was an easy website to find these things when developing your business would you use it? Thank you for your insights!

Some Specific Wholesaling Questions
I've been researching and am confused on these issues: Who provides the displays? (I'm talking about a generic countertop display rack with hooks, not anything custom) Do I provide a PO Form or do retailers use their own? Do I suggest where the retailer puts my product for optimal sales or is that frowned upon? (My product goes WITH an existing product and optimally should be reeeeeallllly close to it.) What if I don't have UPCs for my products? I think the answer is Yes, but should I take marketing materials (designed to be used in retail shops) to show the buyer? Thanks for your time!

The BEST Tools for automating business Accounting
Having a business might seem fun on the outside, and it is, at least most part, some things are hard, or even impossible, for a solo entrepreneur or a new start-up to manage, like BookKeeping/accounting and you could try to outsource it to external large accounting firms, but the costs can add up quickly and eat into your profits, which are probably already slim, given that you are still in the growth phase. so we can we do? well, you can (try to) keep managing your books and hope that’s sufficient, or use an accounting A service, and unlike DIY ones like FreshBooks, these actually manage your books, instead of helping you manage them, but that doesn’t mean that DIY tools are bad, they can be good for freelancers or businesses that have an in-house accounting personnel. Coffee Vending Machines, are they any good?
I live in a city where there is a soaring demand on coffee, people drink coffee more than water. lots of coffee shops, local and giant brand names. Yet, rarely I see a coffee vending machine, usually poor quality and not maintained and barely used. I wonder what if someone brought a presentable coffee vending machine, and provided a delicious coffee and somewhat unique experience. Would that be a good idea? anyone had any experience with vending machines?
