Everyone said they would love to buy their Crypto 80% more down. Now that it happened they are paralyzed out of fear instead.
A throwback to maybe Oct/Nov of last year where Bitcoin was having its height of the run and everything seemed primed for 100k EOY. People were happy and euphoric. The only complaint and the big one was to have bought more. Then we go to end of Nov and the first people started calling for a 80% dip so that they can load up. Where are those people now? Well they are probably too scared right now and the majority likely already left the market in January of this year or so. It's easy to call for a 80% dip but it's hard to stay for it. The dip won't be sharp down on one day and sharp up the next one. For most altcoins it will be a question of survival.

It might feel like #crypto is dying and you can't see any future anymore for it. Your portfolio is dying and you want to cut the losses and the pain. Been there in 2018. Lost a lot, and could barely pay my bills. These are the moments to push. Then you are the winner next.

1- I bought Ada last year at $3 thinking it would go to $10 EOY 2021. Now I tell myself I bought because at that time Charles was going to Africa and how noble it sounded. Anyway will still hold as no other choice. 2- I bought HBAR last year at .40 as one youtuber said it would explode and reach $100 EOY 2021. I secretly thought even if it goes $10, I will be sweet. I am sour like he'll right now. 3- I am in crypto not due to tech but to get rich quick. Feel free to make any confessions if you like as it feels good. Peace out.

If you're 90% certain price will go lower, it's very profitable to sell at current price and buy at a lower price. It's simple math but most people seem to be unaware of this, almost brainwashed with - If you don't sell you don't lose. Well - If you sell and buy at lower price it's even better!
You may be laughing but yes there are people who still think if they sell all their BTC now and buy with the entire amount at a lower price say 20k, they will lose money. The entire illusion comes because they will be selling at a loss. So in their mind, Oh no I'm selling at a 50% loss. Well yes but if it dips further and you buy back , that's profitable! Buy 2 BTC at 60,000$ = 120,000$ BTC price goes 30,000$. Sell 2 BTC at 30,000$ = 60,000$ BTC price goes 25,000$. Buy BTC for 60,000$ at a price of 25,000$ = 2.4 BTC So because you sold at 30k and bought again at 25k you now have 2.4 BTC instead of 2 BTC. If price goes back to 60K you will have 144,000$ instead of 120,000$. Please don't attack and don't laugh at people who ask should I sell and buy lower.

I envy the people of El Salvador and the Central African Republic a little. The recession will be over and their national currency has every chance of returning to its value or even higher. That cannot be said for the dollar and the euro.
