Originally a Dr. Pepper bottling plant and later a recycling center, the design of Charles Smith Wines Jet City preserves its industrial patina, while introducing two new gathering spaces. At the entry level, a rustic lounge features polished concrete floors, exposed wood joists and sliding black steel wall panels, plus a bar and cocktail tables made of salvaged wood. The second-floor tasting room – which overlooks Boeing Field on one side and winemaking facilities on the other – captures an early 1960s aviation vibe with white tuck-and-roll upholstered perimeter seating and a powder-blue Lucite-topped bar on wheels.
