Hoot there it is. 🦉 Great horned owls don't actually have horns. Their ear feather tufts or plumicorns, resembling "horns" are used for territorial displays & may contribute to the owl's hearing. This owl was spotted at Sacramento National Wildlife Refuge in CA. 📷USFWS https://t.co/NM9IUYyadE
