Following the death of a friend's sister last May, Shahnawaz Shaikh established an initiative to distribute free oxygen to Covid-19 patients in India. Shaikh — known as "the oxygen man” — sold his Ford Endeavour SUV and created a 24/7 operation that has helped nearly 7,000 patients get oxygen. Shaikh is motivated by the number of people he has helped and inspired by his Muslim faith. 🐟 A swimmer's missing wedding ring lost off a remote Pacific island was spotted by a snorkeler around a fish Nathan Reeves was visiting Norfolk Island in the far north of Australia with his wife over Christmas when he noticed his gold band had slipped off while swimming in Emily Bay. He had lost hope of ever finding the ring, but incredibly local snorkeler Susan Prior spotted it stuck around the body of a mullet fish.
