I don’t know if this is a normal part of parenting
My husband will often times tell me what to do with my toddler or what to say to her and demand that I do it “now!” For example, my toddler poured some blueberries into a bowl and my husband began telling me that when I let her do this, she wastes all the blueberries that he paid for. And it’s things like this that cause me to drain all our money that he earned. Then he tells me to only let her have a couple at a time. I didn’t immediately take the bowl of blueberries away and then he yelled for me to “DO IT! NOW!” This is just one example but he does this routinely where he tells me what to do and yells at me to do it right then. And when I don’t, he gets pissed at me, calls me selfish, and demands I apologize to him. It all feels so controlling to me, but I don’t know because he makes me feel like I’m the crazy one. Is this normal?

the smell of my baby's head
...is obviously the best thing in the world, but right now - after a family gathering - her head smells like perfume and it really infuriates me for some reason?? That's just not right!

How do I get rid of thick cradle cap ? My three month old son has it in his hair and on his face . It was so bad at one point we had to see a skin doctor . His face is clearing with special skin treatment but the cradle cap in his hair looks sore and is very thick and keeps falling out

I’m frustrated that I have to invite my daughter’s bully to her birthday party.
My daughter’s school has a rule that if you’re inviting anyone from your child’s class to a birthday party, you have to invite the entire class. I understand why they do this, but it’s not a well thought out solution. I don’t want this kid there, and neither does she. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Edit: Thanks for all the advice! I’m going to try to get email addresses, and skip traditional invitations all together.

first mother's day question
So this will be my first mother's day as a mom. Up until now my husband would go hang out with his mom and I would go out with my mom for mother's day. I do not want to make this a group event and hang out with both my mother and my mother in law for mother's day; that doesn't sound relaxing at all. What did you guys do when you became moms? If you decided to do your own thing, how did you tell your mom/mother in law? I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, but I also don't want my first mother's day focused on appeasing others.

Does anyone know if this mom subReddit exists?
Hi bromos! I have recently decided (for the 10000th time in my life) that I want to get fit and lose some weight. Starting in February I have weddings out the coosie for the following two years so I really want to do it this time. Anyway. Is there a fitness/weight loss subreddit for moms floating around that’s active? I feel like a community of people going through a similar journey would be super helpful for me. (Also if anyone has any tips for getting fit as a mom with a 16 month old pls drop it below. love u)

Poop on everything
Why do people even bother buying expensive baby clothes when everything always ends up with poop on it. I’m 10 weeks in and have got at least one blow out per day happening over here. Please tell me it’s not just me. Do I need a better brand of diapers?

Child hasn’t peed in more than 24 hours
S/O and I are on our first vacation in over a decade and left the kids with their aunt for a few days. Child went to the bathroom at school yesterday, but has since, apparently, gone on a potty strike. She’s been screaming constantly when my SIL places her on the toilet. It’s never been an issue, and she’s generally enjoyed taking herself to the toilet and going #1(#2 is a problem). We’ve talked to her via FaceTime and explained that if she doesn’t go, she is going to have to go to the hospital. Not sure if that got through to her, but do any of you have any more ideas? She already drinks a lot of water and usually goes every few hours, so dehydration is not the issue.
