Does anyone else use a Roomba as a babysitter?

My 10 month old loves crawling after our Roomba and harassing the poor thing. He's been at it for a good 30 minutes now while my wife and I enjoy a few glasses of wine.

The best family activities, in my opinion, involve nature & spontaneous learning https://t.co/WX15L9sn9Z https://t.co/evVWbZ0Lwl

Can my kids be around non-vaccinated kids?

Hi All, We are first time parents, and expecting twins in June. I’m curious about what the recommendations are for vaccinated children being around other non-vaccinated children. Given covid, we are not seeing people any how, but at some point things will return to normal or whatever the new normal will be. I have some friends who are choosing not to vaccinate their children or using an “alternative” vaccine schedule. While I have no control over their choices, I do have control over who gets to be around my kids. Looking for information and studies around this! Thank you.

Parents of adult children, how have you dealt with watching them make “mistakes” in life?

20 year old daughter announced she is dropping out of college so she can move in with her High School boyfriend...who is in College in another state. “Mistakes “ is in quotes, because I understand it’s not my life and she needs to find her own way, it just hurts watching her make the sacrifices of her future goals and not him, because they can’t be away from each other. I want to support her, but it’s tough when I don’t agree with what she is doing and I think she might get hurt. Not trying to stop her, because I know it’s not my place. Do I just shut up and let it be?
