Your loud, roaring engine is not sexy or impressive, in fact I hate you.
I'm so sick of stupid, childish men driving past my window with their unnecessarily loud vehicles scaring my sleeping son and waking him up when I've finally got him to take a nap. Why do guys want loud engines? What's the thrill? What's the point????????? Like they are SO LOUD 😔

I feel like I'm missing out
Many of my friends have amazing and close relationships with their siblings/parents. I come from what you would consider a very toxic family. My siblings and I are not close and they treat me like the outcast...mainly because I graduated high school and went to college (they didn't finish HS). I've been called names and accused of things that aren't true told I need to return to my roots and stop acting like I'm better than everyone else. Bottom line I'm just sad that I don't and never will have that kind of closeness. I honestly feel abandoned does that even make sense?

Do you like when other parents refer to you as "Uncle _____" or "Aunt _____"?
.....When you're not actually the uncle or aunt, to clarify. I like doing this with my own kids (e.g. calling my husband's best friend "Uncle Dan"), but I wanted to know if you would find this endearing or offensive/off-putting/weird?

Getting vaccinated while breastfeeding
Hello I haven’t gotten my vaccine yet because I’m breastfeeding and wasn’t sure if getting it while breastfeeding is a good or bad thing so I’ve been putting it off. However I start school in September and now my schools is mandating that i get it. Has anyone gotten the vaccine while breastfeeding? How was it? Was there any harm on the baby? Did you notice any changes? What type did you get? I need enlightenment 🙁

I'm my grandbaby's father figure
My daughter is a single mom. She's 24, my grandbaby is 2 yrs old. I'm the dominant.make figure in her life. My daughter and I are in agreement that it should remain this way. If my daughter gets married or finds herself in a serious relationship, her SO will definitely be a part of my granddaughter's life. However, I didn't want to wait till that happened for her to have a father figure. She calls me Pawpaw. It is true that grandparents tend to be more lenient with grandkids. I spend a lot of time playing with her, we have a game where she's Godzilla and she has to get me. Yesterday was a very chill day for me. I took a couple phonecalls and was done for the day. I was getting dinner ready when I heard a squeaky sound. I lookee around and saw my tiny treasure looking at me, grabbing her doll by the hair while using her pacifier. I melted with joy. The people who don't know me think I'm too serious, bit this baby brings out the best in me.

Where the fuck did all the pacifiers to!?!?
I’ve spent god knows how much on freaking pacifiers. Daughter won’t nap without them. Of course I’m exhausted and have been close to a panic attack all day and YUP ALL THE PACIFIERS ARE GONE. So me and my husband tore the house apart looking for any one of the five she has and nada. Fuck. My . Life. No rest for mom today. 😭😭😭😭

Successful crib nap
I just have to post this here because I’m so proud of my LO and myself! He has never taken naps by himself, only in my arms, the swing, car, etc. And I know that’s pretty normal for a 7 week old but I was really determined to get him to start taking naps in the crib. Or at least used to the idea. I set realistic expectations knowing that it might not work at first or take awhile. We tried for the first time today and he slept a whole hour in his crib on his own! We’re down for nap number 2 now the same way! I feel so accomplished I could cry!

What do you do with a toddler on the weekends?
My son is 14 months and being as he is a pandemic baby we have no bloody clue what to do when he's feeling cooped up. We live in Arizona so it's too hot for outdoor activities, so if you have any indoor suggestions, I would be so grateful!

What kinds of things would you include in a babysitter "cheat sheet"?
I'm heading back to school in a few weeks so my 1.5 year old will be getting childcare for the first time. It's going to be a mix of family and other babysitters, so I thought I'd include a little cheat sheet in his bag they can refer to. I was a CNA for a long time so I always found the "face sheets" we were given very useful, and thought it could be applied here too. I have emergency contact info with allergies and doctor information. I also have his food likes and dislikes, and little "tricks" to help them out. My BIL and SIL haven't watched kids before, but spend a lot of time with him so they'd like to give it a shot. So I'm trying to leave zero room for misinterpreting info 😂 What would you guys include?
