Teachers, counselors and administrators may recognize the cumulative stressors that they face, but they don't always realize that their symptoms are a common reaction to working with children experiencing trauma. @jessica_lander https://t.co/uxmSBoW0Xb

A funny situation
So. My son(12) stole my credit card for his PlayStation and and he only bought Goat Simulator($4.79) I don’t know if I should be mad at him or not. Like he could’ve bought a $60 game but no, Goat Simulator!

Do I have to pump?
Hi All, Simple question. I was looking on my tracking app and noticed I haven’t pumped in two weeks. I have a 3 month old and I am home with him so I feed him every 2-3 hours. He is gaining steady weight has already doubled his weight since birth. I only feed him on the boob pumping is just such a hassle. Also he feeds so regularly I never get backed up. My plan is to BF him until he starts solids at 6 months . So the question is do I have to pump? I rather not but if you all can think of an important reasons it must be done I will definitely start up again. Thank you !

To the driver - A poem
Why must we hear your approach Riding upon your noisy coach? I've asked myself many a day Why you go about this way Arrogant? Small? Dumb? Ill-bred? Maybe dropped upon your head You wonder why I hate you so Quick to come and quick to go Harmless not was this small act Accounting for another fact My baby had been sleeping fast, Till set upon by your dumb ass

2 month old sleeping 12 hours overnight
My 2 month slept 12 hours straight overnight. Is this normal for a 2 month old? I’m happy to get the extra sleep but worried if this is too much sleep for a baby so young.

Grandparents
This is just something I was thinking as I was out today with my mom and grandma, but have you ever noticed that good parents are good grandparents (not over indulgent)? Then I thought about my dad. My worthless, emotionally abusive, absent dad, who has become my son’s favorite grandparent and is actually good at it! I guess crappy parents still have a chance at redemption as grandparents.

Something so little seems so crazy to me
So my kiddo is 9 and his father and I split right before his first birthday but we share 50/50 custody. My son has an iPad that I iMessage on him every once in awhile when he’s at Dad’s and used to get little to zero response because he either couldn’t type/could just barely read or wasn’t confident enough in his spelling to reply. That was okay though because my messages were just things like “Thinking about you, love you!” or something. But over the summer, holy shit what a change. It just blows my mind that seemingly overnight, I went from getting no responses or just a bunch of emojis to now my kid using acronyms like “lol” and “btw”. It’s such a minor thing but just one of life many reminders of how fast they grow up.
