I need to vent! (hitting kids)
So my daughter is almost 2 *enter the most awful, violent phase of my motherhood journey so far* So she being a 2 year old. She's smacking and scratching. Now I am a mom who doesn't believe in hitting, don't care if you hit your kids, I don't hit mine... We all parent different. Now on multiple occasions I have had to have a hard conversation with my daughters father (who was beat daily within an inch of his life by his mother growing up) mulple times after he slaps her hand when she hits. I explain that that's not how I want to do things that I don't believe it even works but I don't freak out over a little hand slap it just makes me very uncomfortable. Now his mother is spending the weekend this weekend to see the kids and keeps telling me I need to hit her. I say no. I just roud the corner to see her bend down and take something from my daughter, my daughter hits her and I see this woman raise a hand right to her face ans stop when she sees me. In short I'm so completely done

Teenage boys only game…
I have twins (13M)… they are polite, do well in school, play soccer during the short season (Aug-Oct), do their chores. They are really nice people… The rest of their time is spent in their rooms playing games on their computers. They don’t want to play board games, go on walks, play with the dog, watch tv, anything… including talk. They are sooo quiet I hardly know anything about their lives (but I hear them laugh a lot while gaming). I’m worried they will end up living with us forever and gaming all the time. How do I get them interested or engaged with life beyond the screen? We used to have screen limits pre-pandemic but those are long gone. I don’t want to punish them, I just want them to see there’s more to life than gaming. Thanks!

Need underwear recommendations!
Hi y'all! My kid requested boy brief underwear with girly patterns. I can't get "boyshorts" or any other variation of the style. They MUST be boy briefs and be as girly as possible. Any suggestions? Thanks!! =) ETA: Size 8-10, must be cut like character briefs or Hanes briefs... elastic waistband, thicker sewn edge on leg holes, full bottom coverage. Designs would ideally be "girly" in nature-- Minnie Mouse, unicorns, plain old pink. I'm assuming there's a bit of sensory issue at play that makes it impossible to find an acceptable pack. I've tried at least 8 other types from Amazon and Target, all with no success. I'm losing my mind at this point. Regular boy briefs were always acceptable until recently when my child began expressing a desire to wear "girl" patterns.
