Meteorite hunters found 11 ounces of material from a bright meteor that streaked over the U.K. last month. At around 4.6 billion years old, the cosmic samples are from a rare type of meteorite called a carbonaceous chondrite, which contain unique minerals and organic compounds such as amino acids.
