Which certification to look for in a yoga teacher school?
I have recently done my 200 YTT in India and the school is certified by the IFYP and the IYA. I learned more about the roots and foundations of yoga as well as philosophy and postures of course. I did not however learn how to put together a yoga class. My friend said that’s because my school is not certified by yoga alliance. Not sure what to do or if I need to re-take a training.

How long does it take to achieve advanced poses
Sorry for my bad English - English is not my first language. I am not totally new to yoga, but have been doing easy hatha yogas only. I know yoga is all about being comfortable with your progress, but I am just thinking to myself, how long does it take for people in general to achieve these advanced poses - i.e., inversions? One of my personal goal is to achieve one advanced pose in a year, but I wasn’t sure if I was being too optimistic with my goals?

Safest Way to Practice?
Hi everyone, I have done yoga before as cool downs, but now that I’m getting older I’m looking to do more yoga and I have a question: how do I do it without ruining my shoulders/hips/etc? I’m hearing a lot of horror stories from advanced practitioners and I want to make sure I don’t accidentally hurt myself thinking I’m doing good. Any advice on safety would be welcome.

Tight right leg?
Whenever I sit on the ground, my right knee is always very high up compared to my left and doesn't reach the floor (I'm not too sure if it's theway I'm sitting, but I've tried it both ways, and the right definitely feels tighter)—Overall, the mobility on my right side is pretty bad compared to my left as I was in an accident when I was younger that decreased it. I've been practicing yoga daily for the past while to try and fix this, and while I have seen some improvement, I would really like to see some more. Any suggestions?
