Sebastian, a true water baby, spends most of his days splashing around the pool in his enclosure, refusing to leave until the sun sets. Other times, you can find Sebastian munching on his favorite dry fruits – dates, and walnuts. After having consumed his fair share of yummy treats covered with honey, Sebastian lazes around, refusing to move unless absolutely necessary. The Himalayan brown bear was rehabilitated at the Wildlife SOS Dachigam Rescue Centre after being spotted raiding crop fields and garbage bins in residential areas. How do leopards communicate? Being solitary and territorial in nature, these majestic felines have evolved various means of effective communication. Activities like clawing or scratching, urine-spraying, and even cheek-rubbing against a tree or log help in conveying signals to other leopards. Both sexes perform the behaviours of marking to advertise their presence. Visible or chemical cues signal others of a leopard's territory.
