He was seen bleeding from his mouth but too scared to come to anyone. People in the area said he was with another dog for months, but the other dog was found deceased. A rescue networker was able to trap him and get him to the vet to be assessed and have surgery to repair his mouth. Based on his wounds we think that he may have been attacked by another animal. He is extremely fearful but opens up around other dogs. He looks to them for comfort and direction. He is slowly starting to come out of his shell — playing with toys and his foster dog sibling. He is still weary of people but so badly wants to trust... We are looking for an immediate foster — someone experienced with scared dogs; or an adopter with another dog and secure yard.
