There are plenty of myths and misinformation about pit bulls. One myth is that they have "locking jaws". While they do not, they do have a strong bite, thanks in part to having large temporalis muscles that take up most of their heads. Don't miss a new episode of Pit Bulls & Parolees tonight at 9p ET. . . . . #pitbulls #pitbull #pitbullsandparolees #dog #bite #discovery #animalplanet #tiatorres #rictureoftheday #photooftheday #potd

Hudson loves being outdoors so he can watch the local wildlife. He also loves playing in the sand! He was born with cerebellar hypoplasia (CH), which causes mobility issues, and being outside in the sand has increased his strength. #adopt him today: https://t.co/1wFkLFxltV ^AT https://t.co/U5pgv0r4DY

He was an owner surrender. According to doctors, the owner was allergic to him so he spent most of his time on the apartment balcony. Unfortunately, due to the owners allergies, Tiny was only fed a can of food once every three days and was being washed with harsh chemicals which led to a skin infection. He was later taken to a boarding facility, and when the owner was no longer able to pay for boarding - the facility suggested he surrender Tiny to us. When we picked him up, he was so happy & fully of life. It’s hard to imagine this little boy being left alone on a balcony for days at a time. However we are grateful the woman at the boarding facility was his advocate & helped him into our care. We know he was from a breeder, is about 12 years old, loves his humans but is afraid in large crowds. He’s good with other dogs & happiest snoozing in a lap. If you are interested in giving him a forever home, please apply (link in bio). Tiny... ❤️ dogsofahwf

Sometimes, it’s the pet who chooses the person. That’s exactly what Diesel did when Jennifer came looking for a pig to adopt. He plopped down next to her and turned on the charm. When a pig decides you’re the one, how can you say no? ☺ ^AT https://t.co/Dv3TTiGmGn
