Since his 62-point game, Steph has essentially been averaging his 2016 stats. That is 20 games in a row out of 25.
Insane. Including his 62 point outburst (which was the 6th game of the season) up until today, he's been shooting 50.4/45.6/90.9 for the **last 20 straight games**. He's been averaging 30.5 PPG in this stretch. So basically, for 80% of the season so far, he's been playing at his unanimous MVP level, yet somehow he's been outperformed by various other players simply due to team record. If the Warriors had a top-3 record or played in the East, he would be the runaway MVP imo, but because his record isn't good, he gets no consideration. That's how much record plays into this award, for those wondering.

Steph Curry on Patrick Mahomes: I see a lot of myself in him, obviously there’s been a lot of comparisons. Just that creativity. You can’t blink or you’ll miss something special. I just love his confidence. He knows that at any point he can do something special.
Context: >But when asked his favorite current NFL player, Curry looked away from the Panthers to the Chiefs. >“Right now? (Patrick) Mahomes, for sure,” Curry said without hesitation. >The podcast hosts asked why. >“I see a lot of myself in him, obviously there’s been a lot of comparisons,” Curry said. “Just that creativity. You can’t blink or you’ll miss something special. I just love his confidence. He knows that at any point he can do something special. >“He’s always got options. He’s got a way to make a play, using his feet or his arm, sidearm pass, whatever it is. He’s surrounded by some weapons and he knows how to use them. That guy, he’s special. He’s a generational talent, obviously. So, love watching him.” https://www.kansascity.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/for-petes-sake/article249161825.html

Karl Anthony Towns on the All Star Game: "Towns: "I don't personally do not believe there should be an All-Star game." Went on to deadpan: "But what do I know? What experience have I had with COVID?"
Many NBA players have voiced out their opinion on how it does not make sense to hold an actual all star game. Towns, for whom this virus has caused a lot of personal loss, has echoed this sentiment. Adam Silver and the NBA should rethink the idea of having an actual All Star game. Source: https://twitter.com/JonKrawczynski/status/1359723694206164993?s=20
