Shaq on Embiid: “The game he played the other day [against the Bulls] had me in tears. I haven’t seen a big man play that way in a long time. I haven’t seen a big man in the MVP conversation in a long time.”

Why is Devin Booker held to a double standard when it comes to winning and "stats"?
For years Suns fans have been angry that Book was repeatedly snubbed while scoring at high volume efficiently and with good-to-great playmaking. And for years, other fans said it's because the Suns suck and Booker isn't winning. Now, the Suns have the fourth-best record in the league. Not just the West, the league. After a relatively slow start Book is now averaging 24.7/3.8/4.3 on 50/38/84 on the season. And he gets snubbed for a young guy in Zion who puts up great stats but plays bad defense and who's on a losing team. What gives? Can anyone justify that double standard to me? *I am aware that he could make the ASG as an injury replacement for Davis, but he shouldn't need to do that.
