KD on why he’s engaging with fans over the Nets’ latest acquisitions: “Cuz I knew y’all would be on here crying and I smell blood In the water so I’m here to fulfill the prophecy lmao”
[link](https://www.foxnews.com/sports/blake-griffin-kevin-durant-nets-critics-latest-acquistions) >The Nets agreed to a deal with LaMarcus Aldridge after he received a contract buyout from the San Antonio Spurs. Once word got out about the contract, critics were quick to pounce on Brooklyn trying to sign a bunch of solid players to get to the next level. > >Durant was having none of it Sunday after he was criticized for adding players to his team. He responded to several tweets. Perhaps this was one of those times KD would’ve been better off letting this burn out on it own. Also a little confused as to what he’s trying to say exactly.

Andre Drummond on his role in the Lakers Locker Room “Back in Detroit they called me Big Pur, I’m gonna make that locker Room Pur!”
Very questionable quote from the newest laker, I honestly don’t know where he was going with this. Lebron and AD have yet to respond to the situation at hand. There was an 5 minute and 20 second awkward silence after Drummond made these remarks. Not a good look for the newest laker

[Benjamin] Some NBA agents threaten small-market teams if they don’t buy out players by saying they won’t bring them players.
Link to the thread: https://ahnfiredigital.com/nba/report-some-nba-agents-threaten-small-market-teams-if-they-dont-buy-out-players-by-saying-they-wont-bring-them-players/ Full quote: > “It’s very, very hard for the small markets or mid markets to say we’re not gonna buy you out,” said one small-market GM, “because you can’t get players there anyway. If you don’t do them favors, an agent will say, ‘I’m not gonna bring my guys to you.’”

NBA players should not be judged based on rings
Rings are ultimately a team accomplishment, sure one player can win finals mvp, but that usually just goes to the best player in the team that wins. This is especially the case with teams like the 2016 - 2017 and the 2017- 2018 Warriors. Therefore I think there are more objective ways to measure players...win shares, PER, box plus minus, raw stats (although if those raw stats are on a below 500 team they aren’t as significant). Even MVPs, all-star selections, All-NBA, and DPoY awards are pretty subjective. Like Kobe did not deserve to be all star in 1998 or 2014 - 2016 for example.
