Target Date funds for early retirement

My current plan has me retiring at 53, but could pull that back to as early as 45 with some lifestyle changes. I'm currently invested in a 2035 target retirement fund. I peeked at the bond allocation and it's already at 25%, with my overall bond exposure closer to 20% taking into account taxable accounts. Given that I plan to retire early, I'm realizing that an early shift to bonds will be detrimental to long-term growth, and am considering resetting my target date fund to 2045 to allow for growth while preserving some bond exposure to ride out the valleys. I'm interested in hearing how others are planning early retirements, especially with respect to target funds and bond exposure.

It may sound counterintuitive, but the energy you put into your hobbies can actually make you perform better at work. Here’s how. https://t.co/Z5YOhMB5vT

My partner (18) and I (17) started a sales business in January and we do around $45k a month in revenue...

... and $27k of that is pure profit. I was going to write a pretty long post about it to maybe motivate a few people but I would actually rather just answer your questions if you have any! Think of us as an external sales team that works for other businesses. We work purely of commission at the moment and our goal is to increase the customer and sales numbers of the businesses we work with. Some answers for obvious questions. * 5 emplyees (Including my partner and I) * Current product we sell is about $200 * Everyone works 4 hours a day 5pm to 9pm. (Because we have school as well) * We rent an office with space for 10. $1200 a month. (Very cheap for what we get) * We dont sell our own product, we only sell other businesses products under their name for 3-6 months at a time until we reconsider wether we should sell another product with more potential.

What's the best SEO refresher course for 2021?

Hey hive mind – I'm hoping you can help. I've been working in SEO for 5-6 years, and since a short course in SEO in around 2014 I've not had any formal training since. I've picked up new applications and developments of SEO over time through networking, using Lighthouse, independent research etc. But I really want to make sure I have all of my bases covered; I *know* things have changed, and I feel like I have a good idea of what SEO in 2021 actually *means.* But what I want to do is make sure I have all bases covered. Does anyone know of any SEO refresher type courses that cover the *most recent and relevant successful applications of SEO to content/copywriting and web design?* There are a million and one SEO courses out there, your advice would be hugely appreciated.

Selling goods into the UK

*Selling goods into the EU is what the title should say Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide me some advice. I have recently started selling Hair growth products from eBay and so far all of my customers have been EU customers. I’m not sure why this is but it has been very profitable so far. My only concern is that in the news I have read small business have ceased exporting due to red tape and cost etc. I have only very recently begun so I am fearful my packages are being held up or lost in customs even though when I sell I ensure there is a customs form attached to the parcel. Out of the 50 parcels I have sold I have only had one customer say they haven’t received it. Am I unwise to continue selling? Any advice would be immensely appreciated as I know nothing about small business, I’m 23 years old. Thank you

Best way to start a clothing company?

I want to start a clothing brand and I know I have a lot of ground to cover. Designs, manufacturing, website, marketing, etc. What is the best first step to be as lean as possible? Which website is best for product creation, if I want to make a hat or shirt to sell

What would be a good, flat rate for mowing someone's lawn (front and back)? Is $30 a good price?

I'm trying to run a lawn care business, and I haven't decided what price I would like to go for. I want to do a flat rate of $25, adjustable depending on the difficulty of the job, but my dad insists I do the same thing except $30 instead of $25. How do you guys feel about it? For mowing the front and back of a lawn, $30 or $25? Edit: I know some of you guys are going to tell me to look at the competition, but my neighborhood and the neighborhoods around me don't appear to hire people to mow their lawns. They typically do it themselves, so I don't have much competition to observe.

Diversification abs DIVERSIFICATION

As of now I have my money in a Vanguard Life Strategy fund 80/20 (for those of you who don’t know what it is, essentially it’s a fund of funds). Looking at historical performance (I appreciate it’s not an indicator of where things are going but it allows us to have an understanding) it appears that this much diversification is diluting the gains. The added protection of bonds and geographical diversification as well as sector diversification doesn’t cover the missed gains opportunity. Below I have added the last 3 years of performance for different funds to assist in explaining the above. 2020/2019/2018 Global Equity - 13%/22%/-7% S&P500 - 18%/31%/-4% Life Strategy 80/20 - 8%/18%/-4%

Shipping included or excluded?

It's like no tipping or tipping it seems. I can charge $49 for an item, shipping included and the $49 is overpriced for my product. OR, I can charge $37 for my product and $12 for the shipping (which is what it costs). My product is a $37 product. How did you handle this in today's 'Amazon free shipping' climate?
