how i want Westbrook to break the record tonight: 8 points 10 rebounds 10 assists turnover, Russ leaks out to a wide open breakaway, dunks so hard he rips the rim off the hoop and wears it like a hat as the shattered backboard glass rains down around him.

Anthony Davis: "It's been fun, to be honest, We were a great team last year, and this is the first time since I've been here that we ran into a challenge. This is a different challenge for us." also adds "What I seen from LeBron today ... he's..he'll be fine," Davis said. "Trust me. He'll be fine."
Talking about being a lower seed and facing the challenges that come with being in this position: Vogel also talked on Anthony Davis: > "He sets a tone for us with his assertiveness," Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. "When he comes to play ... looking to dominate, then everybody else gets a little bit more air in their chest and gets more confidence in what we're going to be able to do that night." Also on Lebron: > "Hopefully we have enough time for [his rhythm and timing] to pick up very quickly," Vogel said. "I've tended to learn to have confidence in LeBron James in situations like that." Make your predictions: When does r/nba turn on the Knicks from lovable under-dog to insufferable big market?
So since this is the NBA, if you are loved, that only means it's only a certain amount of time until you're hated. Believe it or not everybody - KD used to be one of the most beloved athletes in the NBA. He was on OKC, he was everything pure about the NBA while LeBron was the big bad guy who went to Miami. Look at KD now. Steph Curry was the baby-faced assassin who along with the rest of the GSW crew put on a 3-pt shooting onslaught we'd never seen before. After the 73-9 + 3-1 collapse, plus the broken Warriors team, he has his haters. In a more modern example, Giannis was the golden boy here for a long time. Go look at the laughs at him after a 2nd Round Exit last year to Miami. So when do the Knicks go from lovable under-dog to "lmaooo imagine building a franchise around Julius Randle" status?

Steph Silas has probably had by far the most difficult start of any coach ever
He seems like an honest, great guy from interviews. It's a shame he is such in a horrible situation. He maybe knew what he was getting into, but nevertheless: * Team traded two hall of famers for scraps and picks he probably wont last long enough to see them actually getting drafted * Has one of the stingiest, worst owners in NBA * Incredible injury streaks which led to a historic loss streak * Covid chaos and not real preseason
