First Time Firing Someone - I need some pointers
This person is very sensitive and sweet. She definitely has been excited to be a part of the team but she just doesn't have the sense of urgency required and the team is consistently having to do extra to pull her weight. I've been avoiding letting her go for some time now, giving her various "easier" tasks and trying to find a place to utilize her. Her manager has been trying to work with her to no avail and we've decided it's time to let her go. I want to be very gentle and encouraging but I really don't know how to handle this. She's definitely going to cry and I'm an empathetic cryer...oh boy. I also feel terrible about it because these are tough times and jobs are scarce. Y'all got any thoughts, words of wisdom and/or experiences that might help me feel empowered to do this and do it well? Also, she does not have a scheduled shift this week. Do I call her in to talk? Or schedule her for a shift and then drop the bomb?

šøš In June, bloombergopinion's Stephen Roach predicted a 35% decline in the value of the dollar by the end of 2021. Six months later, and the dollar is down about 10% to 12% relative to Americaās major trading partners, dropping to its weakest levels since early 2018. There were three main reasons why he argued the dollar would fall: 1) a sharp widening in the U.S. current-account deficit, 2) the rise of the euro, and 3) a Federal Reserve that would do little in response to any weakness in the greenback. On each of these counts, Roach now has greater conviction on the weak-dollar call today than he did over the summer. help!: name my handywoman business
Iāve got plenty of tools and skills and iād like to start providing minor home repair services to my community. However, Iām having trouble naming my new business. Give me your best name for a local one woman handywoman service. Unique and creative submissions very welcome! While safety is a small concern, it is important to me advertise my gender up front. Stats say more than 70% of all home repair and renovation projects are initiated by the woman of the house. Iām excited about the idea of female empowerment and visibility in this male dominated industry. any crosspost suggestions also welcome

I realized for sure Entrepreneurship will be my future.
Iām 17 and I own a Shopify store I opened that sells clothing and stuff for meditation. I also have a Job at Walmart. Today at around 9:50ish, right before I was about to clock out, I got a sale on my store. That notification saying Iāve made a sale motivated me and made me happy much more than I ever felt working at Walmart. I canāt continue to slave away at this job. I NEED entrepreneurship to search for the next business venture. I desire freedom and I canāt get it here. But I have to stay for now. Thatās okay.

Should I get a CFA to learn more about investing?
Iām have a degree in accountancy, 5 years exp in finance as an analyst. I quit to run my own business for 6 years and recently exited due to COVID. Started investing a few months ago. I know most people get CFA for professional reasons. However, I have no intention of going back to full time employment in the foreseeable future. It will purely be for the purpose of getting more in depth knowledge how markets work and reviewing/adding to what I have learned in uni and work. Iām hoping that it can help me analyse the market and companies more thoroughly and make better investment decisions. Well and maybe getting a , CFA Charter Holder beside my name would be pretty spiffy. Is pursuing a CFA a way to get all the knowledge I need in an organised way? Or should I just watch some investment courses on udemy and call it a day?

How useful is getting a Level 2 data subscription?
I saw this option available within my brokerage account, and I wasn't sure what it was. I was hoping that someone could provide some detail into what type of information these subscriptions provide, and how useful they are in making informed trading decisions. I am not sure how much they cost, however I am considering one if I can determine if the benefit justifies the cost. If anyone has any direct experience with these subscriptions, hearing your experiences would be great.

Over the years, Taiwan has quietly built dominance in making cutting-edge computer chips. Thatās mostly down to a company called TSMC, the world's largest foundry and go-to producer of semiconductors for iPhones and AI tech. Now, an electronic chips shortage in the car industry has exposed just how crucial they are in global supply chains. Ford, Toyota and VW had to halt production and ask governments for help, but China's push to cut the world's official dealings with Taiwan has made things trickier. Click the link in bio to learn how Taiwan and TSMC became too big to ignore.

Jeremy Johnson, a 31-year-old ad tech sales manager in Atlanta, started out trading popular stocks on Robinhood and making deposits to his Roth individual retirement account. But after investing more than $15,000 a year on average by himself, Johnson turned to a financial adviser. āYou can save your money all you want,ā he said, ābut if itās not doing anything, what does it look like long term?ā Many do-it-yourself investors have come to the same conclusion: they need professional help to grow their wealth.
