Exclusive: For 77 days between election and inauguration, Donald Trump — advised by conspiracy-minded lawyers and funded by a new class of donors — tried to subvert American democracy with a lie about fraud that he had been grooming for years. https://t.co/Y02fxtjsnp

Environmental activist Eradajere Oleita is making sleeping bags for the homeless out of used potato chip bags. The 25-year-old, who was born in Nigeria and moved to Michigan as a high school student, said the bags are durable, waterproof and the bags’ foil lining traps body heat. "I want people to think about these things and for our products to come full circle,” Oleita said. “I have never been shy of humanitarian work because firstly, I am ... a human." Oklahoma Rep. Justin Humphrey introduced a bill this month that proposes open season and specific hunting licenses for people to hunt Bigfoot — a mythical ape-like creature also known as Sasquatch. "Tourism is one of the biggest attractions we have in my House district," Humphrey said. "Establishing an actual hunting season and issuing licenses for people who want to hunt Bigfoot will just draw more people to our already beautiful part of the state. It will be a great way for people to enjoy our area and to have some fun." Tap the link in our bio to learn more. (📸: Steve Gooch/The Oklahoman/AP)

One of the largest vaccination sites in the country briefly shut down Saturday afternoon because maskless, anti-vaccine protesters blocked the entrance, officials said. For nearly an hour, thousands of motorists in line to get a coronavirus vaccine shot at Dodger Stadium were stalled as about 50 people demonstrating against immunization efforts caused officials to temporarily close the site’s gates, Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman David Ortiz told The Washington Post. The protest had no impact on the number of shots given Saturday at the site, which can vaccinate 8,000 people a day, Ortiz said. No arrests were made, according to police. The protesters, members of anti-vaccine and far-right groups, organized online, according to the Los Angeles Times, which first reported about the closure caused by the “SCAMDEMIC PROTEST/MARCH.” Go to the link in our bio to read more.

Bumble made clear last week that there is no place for body shaming on its platform. The dating app updated its terms and conditions to list "physical appearance" among other discriminatory language it does not tolerate. The list also includes "race, colour, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender expression, gender identity. "Find something else about their profile to talk about. Or, if you're not interested in someone, you can swipe left," the company said. "If you're not sure if a message will come across as body shaming, a good rule of thumb is simply not to comment on another user's body or health at all." Tap the link in our bio to learn more. The biggest snowstorm in two years in the Washington region is underway Sunday, with a widespread 3 to 5 inches by evening. A the high-impact storm is set to take aim at the Northeast beginning late Sunday and continuing at times into Tuesday, plastering the corridor from Philadelphia to Boston with heavy snow, including New York City. Widespread snow totals nearing or exceeding a foot are possible from Philadelphia to Boston, with 18 inches or more not out of the question in New York, depending on any influx of relatively mild air from the Atlantic Ocean. The same storm system has already brought eight inches of snow in Chicago and will drop a healthy dose of snow all the way to the Canadian border on Sunday. Go to the link in our bio to read more.
