90% flakes,no shows, no replies on indeed.com
Is this a normal percentage? I am prompt when I respond to their application and keep up with communication but it seems like nearly all applicants do not reply through the messages or even when I call directly. When I call directly I make sure to leave a detailed message with my name and number. I still barely get any replies from voicemails. Is this a normal percentage for the website? Is it the labor market currently ? How is your percentage?

If you’re not having the best luck on Amazon, maybe try Shopify?
When I launched my store on amazon, I had all the giddiness of a toddler starting kindergarten but I realized I wasn’t making as much sales as I’d anticipated so I did some sort of refurbishment, changed my product photos and took my stuff to Shopify. I'm making way more sales, decent at least, I’ve been able to set up my site and business is doing pretty well. I’m no expert but I know a lot of small business owners (even me at the beginning) get stuck on amazon because it’s the biggest marketplace but I think they forget if their products don’t stand out or pop up first in searches, they hardly make any sales. This is just my own personal experience but if you’re a small business owner and you’re trying to grow your brand or even improve your sales on amazon, this is probably a sign to give Shopify a go.

I can't figure out how to get a DBA.
I'm in Alabama. I went to my county courthouse to get a business license and DBA. I was previously told I could get a DBA there but they had no idea what it was. They told me I could just name my business and it doesn't matter but that can't be right. I'm really confused about all of this.

Selling Live Plants Outside?
Hey! General question, I have a little Etsy plant business that I am trying to grow (ideally I would sell in person in my city to lower shipping cost) would I be able to gather my plants and plop down with a table somewhere and start selling? I do have my sales tax permit but I am not able to find a lot of information around the legality of it. If I have a shop’s permission to sell on their property is that all I need? I have tried looking into farmer’s markets but the waitlist is very long and requires a weekly commitment that I can’t meet due to school/work. I really want to get started on this since I have the inventory! Any advice would be appreciated, thank you :)

Lost my business and have Remaining CC debt I cannot pay. Card issuer has now turned over to a law firm for collection and they will likely file suit. I do not have any cash to pay them whatsoever.
Card was in business name and law firm made a point of saying “personal guarantee”. Advice?
