Need some advice

Hello Everyone. The purpose of this post is to help me better understand an issue I am facing that I don't understand the reasoning behind. I have created a business called "The Bean Wagon". It is a 6 x 12 mobile coffee trailer in Virginia. When I registered the trailer at DMV I applied for a personalized plate (BEANWGN). To my surprise, they denied my request stating that it referenced derogatory marks and/or violence. I called their number and was told it was a derogatory remark towards mexicans. Obviously I know what they are reffering to (Beaner), but I dont understand how my name had any connection. I think its pretty obvious I'm refrencing a coffee bean thats all there is to it. Since when is using the word "Bean" looked at this way?
