Hey Guys, Posted on here a few days back about the struggles we've been having with our home services franchise. My wife and I sat down over the weekend and I laid out our P&L, and if things turned around projected out different scenarios. We'll likely make the decision to close the business, and pay down our debt for a few years until we try something again. I'm wondering if any of you would be interested in reading my story via a regular post on Reddit? I'd like to include a lot of details as I think its necessary to provide a real representation of how everything went down, but don't want to waste my time if nobody is interested. I'd include things like the franchise process, discovery day, working with a consultant, red flags, perception vs. reality, etc. Just trying to be helpful, as I know most who post on here probably haven't actually went through every potential business owners worst fear. Thoughts?

How do S-corps handle savings?

I can't seem to find a corporate bank account with a decent interest rate (such as a high yield savings account), and there doesn't seem to be a way to invest corporate funds outside of a retirement account. What do people with s-corps do with significant amounts of money that the company will need within the next six months? It seems like a waste to just leave large amounts of money in a regular bank account. Thanks!

Should I register a LLC ?

I have an Etsy store and online store where I sell tshirts. All the accounts (Etsy, PayPal etc) are linked to my SSN. The stores make a few sales here and there not a whole lot. Would it make sense to register a LLC (sole proprietorship / single member LLC) and use that for all my stores and PayPal? Would there be any tax benefit or isolation for my personal assets? Would it benefit if I expand in future to other sources like affiliate marketing etc. Appreciate your thoughts.

I have so many questions on this topic. Where to get started? What do I need? How will I need to adjust my business if something like pandemic lockdowns happens again? I have been reading a lot of posts here. I know all of you know the panic and anxiety. Do I just put both feet forward and do it? I just read a post about someone who is closing after 5 years and part of that time was through the lockdown. How do you manage to get past that? EV Tax Credit (S Corp vs Personal)

Purchased a vehicle in early 2022 which qualifies for the $7,500 tax credit. I am deprecating the vehicle through my S-Corp. Do I file the $7500 tax credit on my personal 1040 with Form 8936. If not, how do I claim it through the S-Corp? Some kind of general business credit?
