Anyone own two complimentary businesses at the same location, and combine their incomes?
Dad owned a small owner operator tow company and a plowing company, which are legally separate entities run at the same location. He collected both incomes as one and treated expenses as one. No real books kept. He passed away, and I took over the companies (and didn't sell everything) so that his main employee wouldn't lose his job, and he now runs operations. **Problem is, I began running income and expenses separately through each entity as they're supposed to be - but one business operates at a loss.** How do I correctly rectify this situation?

How are small business owners making it with the ridiculous cost of healthcare, medication, and treatment?
I always wanted to start a small business but I have an autoimmune disease which requires being on a medication that costs about $75k per year. That's $15k more than my whole yearly salary and I have "good job" based on comparable jobs in my location. If not for employee provided health insurance, there's no way I could eat that. How are people doing it? Do you pay a crazy premium or just not have insurance? I've never seen that side of it, does the government help in any way?

Same time,same price, same place
Since my business is growing and I've decided I would like to keep one particular client at the same price for the exact same services each time(weekly)as I've been doing for almost 2 years now. Is it appropriate to tell them such since I do get some word of mouth referrals from this client. If so, how can I professionally say that? The word of mouth referrals that come from this original client would be priced accordingly and higher than what I charge the first original client. TIA

Is anyone familiar with running Facebook ads? I feel like my ad either isn’t working or ads manager is lying that my ad is even up.
So I paid to run an ad on ads manager for my business Facebook page. The ads manager says it’s blowing up that my ad has already reached over 2,400 people and has impressions and I’ve gotten 3 clicks so far which should bring them to message me. I have not gotten any notifications on Facebook at all. My page doesn’t have any new followers or likes. And no messages. So where’s those 2,400 impressions? Where did those 3 clicks go that should have taken them to send me a message? Does my ad just suck? Or is ads manager bogus?
