LLC - is my home vulnerable to lawsuit?
Hello, I operate an LLC out of my home. My name is on the title for the house along with the bank as a lien. In the event of a lawsuit, can they come after my home because it is where we operate the day-to-day operations of the business? Thanks in advance.

How bad does it look to change an estimate?
I’m trying to branch out my lawn care business and do more landscaping work. I gave an estimate for removing 12 Yew shrubs. I’ve removed other bushes/shrubs before and can typically get them out in less than an hour. Well...I just got done researching Yews and I think I just greatly underestimated how long it will take me to remove just one of them. How bad will it look if I contact them and tell them it’ll be more than I originally estimated? I haven’t started any of the work yet but still feel like it’ll look bad on me to change my estimate. I’ve underbid in the past and just sucked it up and did the work and took the loss. But I’m afraid this is going to take entirely too much time for how little I’m going to be paid. Note: I didn’t know they were Yews till I got there or I would have done my research before meeting with them. Also landscapers who have removed Yews are they really as bad as the internet makes them out to be? And typically how long does it take you to remove one?

HELP Selling my Small Business
I am selling a small business that I own 100%. We sell handmade products to retail stores and direct to consumer online. 20k gross sales a year. I have 2 employees that do all manufacturing. I am completely hands off. My employees came on board 6 months ago, saving the business from going under and have increased production 5x, so I want to pay them out fairly. As well as this, they have possession of ~$10k of my equipment and materials + knowledge of the manufacturing process that will also need to be transacted. I am currently negotiating with a potential buyer for ~40k (2x annual sales) Again, I own 100% on paper, but how should I move forward with paying out my employees with this transaction?

Vaccinated shoppers are heading back to the mall, offering hope that the worst of the pandemic downturn is over for this beleaguered industry. Foot traffic at a representative sample of 50 malls in March was up 86% from the same month last year, according to mobile-device location data from analytics firm Placer.ai. While that foot traffic was 24% lower than in March 2019, mall owners are suggesting that their business has turned a corner. Shoppers are eager to get out again, often armed with cash from the latest round of government stimulus checks. Many aren't just browsing shops but dining out and returning home with bags full of new purchases. Go to the link in our bio for more on this story.

Promoting business with decals
Hello, I was wondering would it be a good idea to put a decal on the back window of my car for advertising. I’ve been in business for a couple of months and haven’t been making profit. I also DoorDash full-time. My main concern is would it be safe and how can I protect myself from bad comments that may be based on my driving. Would it also be profitable.

Fabrication shop
Anyone in the sub have any experience with small fabrication/welding shops? I have a rough idea of what I’d need an estimate as to how much money I’ll need to dish out. Just looking for any tips based off your experience, what to do/not to do etc. I am all ears and am willing to learn as much as I can. This is my dream and I’m gonna make it happen one way or another. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Small Business Question California
Was this a mistake?! I opened a small online Etsy shop and decided to make it a registered company and became an LLC now I feel like I jumped the gun as I haven’t made much revenue maybe about $600 in the past 4 months. Now I’m getting licensing fees up the butt and I’m like wow I’m going to lose all my profit because I have to pay all this additional stuff. Any idea if there are waivers for small businesses? I’m feeling really discouraged as I’m technically losing money 👎🏻
