Last Minute: 10,000 Units / Freight from LA to MKE
Ok, here's our kind of absurd problem. The company I work for needs to move 10K units / 20,000 pound full truck load (FTL) of product from LA to MKE. We've never seen rates as high as some are (most likely because it's last minute) but still every carrier we've spoken with has given us pretty insane rates. We understand some impact from Covid but still. Has anyone worked with a freight carrier recently? If so, one that can move a full truck load from LA to MKE in one week? I've tried several brokers and I can't wrap my head around the steep pricing. thoughts?

My idea was rejected and I need a new one ASAP
I'm a junior in highschool who is fortunate enough to have been accepted into a fantastic program full of opportunity. A third of my day at school is going to be spent in a separate building with the other people who were accepted, and each of us create/run our own business under the guidance of people worth more than I ever will be (financially speaking.) We have to come up with our own business idea, however, and the first one I came up with ran into issues. I need a new one soon so I can begin working with the managers of the program, but I am drawing nothing but blanks. Please, if anybody has any ideas for a small business idea, let me know because I need to research options for my program and settle on one.

How does contract and pricing work when a client isn’t happy?
I was recently contracted to handle the the production of a video conference. We produced the content and the client was extremely happy. They asked us to stream the content over a specific platform which we agreed to because we’ve done it before with success. The live stream portion did not go well. The quality was poor and the experience was not good. We ascertained that likely the platform was just not able to handle the high quality stream that day. What approach should I take to make this right with the client?
