Ok to only want 1 child
Hello all - I'll make it quick, sometimes I feel guilty because I'm not sure my wife is in agreement with me, but she says she is. I see lots of families with more than 1 kid and so many people ask "when are you having more kids!!??", but I'm honestly 100% content with 1 kid (4 yr old). I love being a parent, she's literally my favorite thing but I have zero desire to have another kid. Everything has went so smooth with our only child and I don't know. I'm also from a small family that's not as nurturing as what my wife is from. Should I feel guilty for truly only wanting 1 child? I just feel so content with our +1.

Is it normal to feel depressed at my child’s birthday?
My son turns 5 on Thursday and I am so not dealing well. I can’t believe he’s starting school in a couple months. I can’t believe the last year I get to have him all to myself was spent in quarantine. I can’t believe I’ve spent the last 2 years trying and failing to conceive and am about to give up on giving my son a sibling. I am so depressed I cry over nothing and snap at my husband for less than nothing. Is this normal? I don’t want my baby to grow up.

Help teaching kiddo not to still the cats food and water bowls?
The past week, the kid has developed an overwhelming urge to mess with the cats food bowls, specifically the water. He has spilled it at least 10 times over the past few days; our poor mop can't catch a break. He has emptied the food kibbles all around the house as far as the bathtub if we don't catch him in time. Stern "NO"s don't appear to be dissuading him at all. Is it too much at this age to expect him to understand not to do it? He is 1yr, 5 months and we hoped this could be his first learning experience. Unfortunately mom and I are fed up and it's really just causing frustration. Time to abandon and find a new place for the bowls? Or do we stick with this in hopes he eventually gets it? Much love. Thanks.

5 year old is afraid to be by herself in the house.
She typically cannot handle being in a room by herself and she gets freaked out whenever the house creaks or a neighbor makes noise loud enough for us to hear. Any advice?

Will my toddler figure out walking on her own?
My 14 month old isn’t walking. Im not concerned because I know it isn’t considered a delay until 18 months. HOWEVER she’s stubborn as heck. We try to work with her doing age appropriate exercise and she just refuses. Will she eventually figure it out without any intervention? She can cruise/pull to stand/hold herself up with one hand just fine. She just won’t let anyone try to help her, encouraging the use of a push walker or holding her hands and trying to walk with her results in her immediately sitting down. I should be proud I am raising an independent kiddo just want to make sure if I give her space to figure it out if she’ll be okay.

Custody Arrangements 2-2-3 vs 2-3-2 vs 2-2-5-5
Soon to be divorced and did the typical thing of looking into custody arrangements. I came across the typical 2-2-3 and 2-2-5-5. I dont 100% understand the 2-2-5-5. I liked the 2-2-3 at first before i had see one parent would have 5 days in one week. Then i thought about a 2-3-2. Couldnt find anything on google. I thought it made sense if you look at just the week itself. one parent would have 4 days and 3 for other opposed to having 5 and 2. Is there a reason 2-3-2 isn't talked about? If it was and i missed it, what would any pros/cons be.
