Website and hosting options for my small LLC
I am at the point where I am ready to build a website for my business. I am not operating yet. I just have an LLC formed, and I am working part-time to get things going. I have a domain, I have email working on that domain via o365. I am undecided on how to proceed with the website. I know a little html/css from a course I took last year. But I know no web developer. And I am not good at aesthetics. I need a basic website that looks professional with some info about the services I plan to offer, a way to contact me, and maybe a link to a page where clients can pay their bill. I hear a lot about WordPress, but I have never used it. Would it be worth my time learning it, or should I just pay a web developer to make a website that I can have hosted somewhere? Or maybe I should hire someone to make the WordPress site and do some knowledge transfer so I can do basic edits later on? I am curious to know what others think.

How do I start my own leather sandal company similar to Jerusalem sandals?
Jerusalem sandals is a Las angelas based sandal store that makes classical sandals reminiscent of the days of the Bible and middle east. I'm interested in making leather sandals myself and starting a buisness, my problem is I don't know where to start.

Single member LLC hasn't used a business bank account or business credit card - bad for taxes?
I have a single-member LLC, and I made an amateur/newb mistake where I've been paying for my startup costs with my personal bank account and credit card (mostly credit). I've spent about \~$5,000 in startup costs so far. I just got approved for a business credit card, but it won't arrive for another week or so and I still have some things to pay for. My question is -- in terms of taxes and being able to deduct these expenses, is it really bad that I've been paying for my startup costs using my personal credit card and bank account? It was a total newb mistake that came from trying to get up and running super quickly, and I'm realizing now that I may not have done things in the right order. As a single-member LLC, is it really bad to pay for business costs with a personal card?

Should I get a truck?
Hey everyone, thanks for reading. Right now I have a landscaping business that I’ve had for about 2 weeks. I’ve serviced about four clients and I have more wanting work done. I have a scion TC that I work out of. A truck in my opinion would make me more official and provide me with more work. I work at Best Buy part time also. It would add a $488 car payment or I could put more down. Should I do it? Or is it too soon? I’m just thinking about it so don’t go ham on me for jumping the gun. Thank you for your opinions!

text recognition for scanned paperwork
Hello all. We've been in business for five years, and doing well, but at this point I am finding the amount of hard copy paperwork I need to store a little bit cumbersome. Also I'm not great at keeping it organized. Can anyone recommend an affordable system so that I can scan these hard copies and have the software recognize the text in the scans and make it searchable on my computer? TIA

Best free/cheap form software that allows for collaboration?
I'm looking for a software solution that allows me to send an onboarding form to new clients and then send that completed form to me and one other person. Ideally the software would be free, but I'm ok with paying a small monthly fee. I have checked out Typeform, Jotform, and others, but they all want $30 per month just for a single collaborator.

Anyone else have experience with the American Marking & Publishing scam?
A sales person entered my business making promises of improved SEO rankings and traffic if we purchased their 360 Google Tour. It all sounded wonderful. I purchased it and scheduled a shoot date. After doing research I found that their claims are inaccurate. Turns out the salesman also had me sign a contract that he had presented as just a credit card receipt. They will not refund my purchase and my bank is refusing to chargeback because of the “contract”. Their reviews on Yelp and BBB tell me that this is just what they do.

[Social Media] help trying to sort out my accounts
Hi all, I’m looking for help in getting my head around my current social media accounts and how to clean-up and configure them. Best way I can lay it out is such: - Account A (personal) - Account B (Business); this one came first and I want to keep - Account C (Business); I created it about a year ago as more of an experiment than anything else. Was created on the back end of Account B - Account D (Business); I’m yet to create this one. What I want to do is: - Delete Account C - Add Account D But after two attempts, the first time I hesitated as I was worried I was about to delete Account B, this time I can’t seem to find a way to delete just Account C. Just looking through meta business it doesn’t yield any results or I’m not looking in the right spot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Inventory Management software
Hello everyone! I'm looking for a bit of help currently, I'm wanting to get an inventory management software for my small business. It's a candy shop and I'm looking to get a software that allows the candy to be scanned and for the software to automatically decrement the inventory of the scanned item on the sheet that is holding the data. I do have a small amount of coding knowledge and would be okay to learn more if the suggestion involves that! Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much!!

Accurate Timesheet Tracking for Veterinary Practice using ezyVet as Practice Management System?
Hi There, Wonder if any of you can recommend a good and accurate employee timesheet tracking program or software to ensure we're paying our staff properly? We currently run payroll via our practice management system, ezyVet's Timeclock feature. It seems to do an ok job, but I'm hoping for alternatives. Thank you in advance.
