Why i can't figure out what business to start?

I would like to start a business, even at my young age (18), but i can't figure out what business to start. I have a mentor to support me throughout my journey but it seems that I can't come up with one opportunity that fits me well. I think i'm too stubborn with the whole passion thing or maybe i'm self-sabotaging myself thinking that i need to find ''the right one''.. ​ Happy to hear your thoughts and tips!

Getting use to the fact that it's normal to fail, and it's a numbers game(multiple bootstrapped business attempts)?

I think perfectionism and fear of failing is hurting my mentality of just getting into a small bootstrapped business, and just getting experience to be able to get in the trenches and get the results. How can I get over that fear of failing and needing to do things perfect and into the idea of just learning to optimize my results? How are serial entrepreneurs able to simply cut their losses, try a new venture and get that to profit? Is it the basic fact that they are very skilled, and seen it all and know how to get the results?

Shipping in custom boxes?

I run a small Etsy. I LOVE the idea of custom boxes/mailers, but they’re so expensive and on top of that end up costing SO MUCH to ship!!! How the hell do y’all get around that? Like some small stuff I make can be shipped pretty cheap in a little polymailer, but I really want to upgrade my packaging to look more professional. Tired of plain plastic envelopes and flat rate boxes 😢

Business Phone Addon Costs?

Lately I've been getting calls from sales guys wanting to "improve my phone services." I'm actually interested in some of the add-ons for our small office, but I'm not sure about the quotes that I've got so far. I just don't know if I'd be able to tell a good deal if I saw it. So, how much would you expect to pay for an add-on phone service? $10/month, $20, $100? Some other information (if it helps): we have less than 10 people (extensions), we're based in the US, we're especially interested in a hold music add-on, we have per month billing, not annual billing

Thinking of starting a small business

Hi, I'm toying with the idea of taking a side business/hobby and going legit. Just looking for advice on how to do this. A little background, about a year ago I started doing small engine repair on the side and it took off, with only advertising on fb. I took some time off to move, and found that there is a hole in the local market for this service. I would like to try to take advantage of this, but I don't know what to do besides register a business name. Any help is appreciated.
