Searching for Funding

Hello everyone. My name is Eric. I’m currently searching the internet for ways to get funding to possibly open a small coffee shop / cart/trailer. Every where i look seems like you already need your business up and running for at least 1-2 years. Anyone have experience in this or can possibly give me some tips in the right direction. I am also currently Saving monthly to be able to put into the business as well for those who might think I’m just asking for a handout. Regardless i appreciate everyone’s time. Thank you.

Are Chambers of Commerce worth it?

I have a wealth management business and my main goal would be either bringing in other small business owners as clients or creating a referral network with them for overlapping clients. But, looking into the local Chamber of Commerces around me they have fairly expensive yearly fees and then you have to pay to attend events. Is it worth it? Has anyone had success enough to justify the cost?

Quarterly tax help

I have been on maternity leave this quarter, and my expenses were greater than my income since I haven't really been working. What do I do about the Q2 estimated taxes due Thursday? This is my first year with my LLC, so I don't have prior year tax info. But I don't want to be penalized at year end. Thank you for the help! I don't have a CPA.

Square or Clover in NJ

So my Wife and I are opening up a beauty studio. Mostly lashing, waxing and nails. This is all new to us so we are currently looking for recommendations in which company to go to for a POS system. When im not trying sell higher dollar websites to small business owners im a contractor for a web agency in a different state. My main goal is to build my own client base. Splitting TikTok earnings

I make money on TikTok and I operate as an individual. I’m thinking about setting up an LLC but I haven’t done that yet. Apart from my main TikTok account, I have a joint account with a friend. We make money from views and get paid from TikTok. The money is set up to go into my bank account. In order to pay my friend his half, do I pay him as a contractor?

5033 retirement form

I was asked to get a 5033 form from my company’s 401k provider. I haven’t heard back from them yet, but from a few Google searches I can’t find anything related to this form. Maybe a typo? I am located in Missouri
