What to start with 15k
I recently did good in the stock market and came out with 15k profit. I'm trying to feel out what businesses I could start off this initial investment. I'm currently a photographer/videographer but my industry has become incredibly saturated so I'm looking to jump ship.

I have a business idea, but how do I evaluate the need?
Husband and I have been obsessing over starting a business. Both of us are in jobs we just don’t love. My husband was in the military and is currently a police officer. I’m thinking of some sort of security consulting/tactical training business with his skill set. But no idea how to scope out the need. Any insight?

Bill Cosby’s conviction for drugging and sexually assaulting a Temple University employee in 2004 was overturned by Pennsylvania’s highest court. Cosby, 83, is serving a 10-year prison sentence for the conviction. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that prosecutors had violated his rights by breaking an agreement made by a previous prosecutor relating to incriminating statements Cosby made in a civil lawsuit. LLC or Corporation
Thinking of opening a trucking business in which we lease/ buy trucks and hire drivers to operate them. However, I'm wondering which option is best an LLC or a corporation. What are the different implications for each? I can go into business with my partner or he can just open it by himself if being an S-corp will be better. We actually already opened a corporation last night, but now he us under the impression that this was the wrong choice due to liability.

Inequity is systemic. It is an avoidable disparity, the result of poor governance, and cultural exclusion. Inequity costs the US economy billions of dollars each year. Its most damaging price: the persistent disparities marginalized groups face everyday. https://t.co/XZvrt2UxiI

Starting a business with two brothers
I am currently starting a retail/ecom business with my two brothers. We would like to not form an entity as we are still in the very early stages of this thing and don't want to go down that road until we have some actual proof of this being something we want to focus on long term. That being said, if we don't form an entity/partnership how do we handle filing returns and such since it would technically be a sole prop on one of our individual returns right?

BBB Complaint?
Has anyone here dealt with a BBB complaint? I got a call from BBB today - and it scared the shit out of me thinking someone was filing a complaint against my company - and then it ended up being a sales call. But then that got me thinking about how to handle a BBB complaint if one comes in. Has anyone here dealt with a BBB complaint, either if you were registered with BBB or not? I'm not registered with BBB and don't really feel like signing up for it UNLESS it helps me get a future complaint resolved. I focus my reviews on my Google listing and don't want another review site to manage.
