essentials grocer
A simple, focused and specialized grocery store that doesn't carry thousands of items; fewer distractions. Just a lot of specific good quality healthy foods, excluding unhealthy foods. enough variety to not feel boring. obviously needs some snacks and some prepared meals. you're in and out fairly quickly. almost every item is essential and has great health benefits for a well-rounded diet. aside from just the food, there could be other goods and services perhaps. chicken, turkey, greens, eggs and dairy, salmon and tuna, fruits and berries, avocado, bread and cereals. condiments, creams, spices, etc. could be included as well. some canned food. efficient delivery service of course.

Looking for ideas (I hope this is allowed)
Hey I'm looking for ideas that may not have been tried in my earwax. I have a crazy deep yearning to be a business owner, or at least some good side income. And my only idea is a car dealership. Which are a dime a dozen here and most fail within a few years. What is an idea that you have had that may not have been tried here in the midwest? .

2% cash back credit card, do you use when you have a cc fee?
My mind is a wondering. If I'm getting back 2% from a rewards card. And my corporation has to pay a 3% usage fee with a vendor. Does it still make sense to use the card.. the 2% is tax free.. Love to hear other business owners feelings. Happy 4th!

Section 179 and Vehicle Titles
Over the past decade in business I have purchased several business vehicles, which often share some personal use but are mostly business. I have deducted their applicable percentage of actual expenses, often with bonus depreciation through Section 179. When I started, I purchased the vehicles in my personal name, and more recently I’ve purchased them in my business name. I recently became aware that I need commercial insurance on business titled vehicles, even ones jointly titled in my name. Commercial insurance is nearly twice the price. Does anyone have any concrete guidance for whether you need to title business vehicles in the business name for 179 deductions and to stand up in audits? I’ve received very conflicting info, from accountants, insurance company, peers, etc. Insurance told me to title them personally. I will always be using actual expense deduction methods versus mileage as the vehicle costs make that far, far more favorable. Any input is much appreciated.

Do I need to file for DBA if dropping "LLC" from website?
Hi all, I plan on dropping LLC from my header, and logo on my website, but keeping it in legal docs, fine print on website and marketing materials. Do I need to get a DBA if I drop it in some places for marketing? The LLC lettering can make things busy. Thanks

Buying FedEx route
Hi I’m new here. Has anyone bought a FedEx route? I’m considering buying a large one in place because the owner wants to retire. All thoughts appreciated. I will be speaking with another FedEx route owner later this week but was hoping to learn a bit in advance. Thank you!

Looking for some as much info/help as I can get!
So me and a good friend of mine just decided to start our first LLC together! We've been making good progress on setting up an e-commerce store but we ran into an issue! When trying to set up a bank account we couldn't find any that would allow a 17 year old (him) be added as a person who owns 50% stake since he's not 18 yet. Does anyone have any ideas for what we can do?

How to generate new sales leads.
This is for a SMB selling consulting services and products. We've reached a rut and I don't have any new clients in the pipeline. I'm running some ads on FB, Google and have website SEO. Could be slow due to summer vacations? Anyhow, I'm looking into hiring a freelance commission sales and marketing person/business. Any advice? What not to do? Is this the right approach?

How to transfer IP to new LLC in different state?
I'm rebranding and I've also moved states (MI to WI). My current LLC is based out of my parents' house in my old state. I think the easiest way to go about this is setting up a new LLC with a new EIN in WI. However, my current LLC holds several copyrights. How do I transfer these to a new LLC? Is it possible to transfer an EIN, or should I just set a new one up? Thanks!

Payeezy Gateway shutting down
To give everyone a heads up, if you are using the Payeezy gateway from First Data/Fiserv, it is being retired on August 31, 2023. By this date, you need to move to a new gateway, I personally suggest Fluidpay. Make sure you contact your merchant provider to ask to begin migration. It also is likely a good time to compare rates. Feel free to DM me with questions, or if you wish to look at a new rate in the US.

Saltbox alternative - options for startup distribution and warehousing?
I love the idea of Saltbox but unfortunately it's not available near me. What other options are there for a physical warehousing and office location? I'm looking for something a little more than a UPS store mailbox or a co-working space, something like 100-1000 square feet of space for a warehouse and 2 desks.
