Small nursery business
Im in a small college town, and i have an idea to propagate unique plants to sell as well as provide unique choice of pots to sell with them as well. This will be my first business and being a college student myself I know there is a market for this. Any advise on how I should go about starting this? (Be helpful or critical, both will help me develop this plan and work out all aspects)

Custom Website Building Business
So I am a 17 year old looking to start my own online business. I realized that a lot of small businesses lack the infrastructure to operate online, or they don’t even have a presence online. Would you guys think that a custom website for $250 USD each would be a good idea? I’m just brainstorming different ideas and this seems promising.

What is the best barcode and inventory software system for a small business?
I own a small crafts retail business. The sales floor is 6,000 sqft and the warehouse upstairs is also 6,000 sqft. Essentially what I am looking for is to have a barcode system that is also a POS. So that way when a customer is ready to purchase products, I want to be able to just scan the product and the price would pop up on the screen and then they could pay. I also want a software that could easily tell me how many units of I have of each product and where it is located in the warehouse. SKUs are essential as well for this. When new merchandise comes in, I want to be able to check in it with a barcode scanner and be inputted in the computer system so that it could be organized smoothly. Please let me know what would be the best and most affordable system for this please. Thanks.

Should I become a farmers market vendor?
Hi friends, I have a very small frozen health food product for kids and have been selling locally to parents. It’s been successful and I want to expand. It’s something that doesn’t exist in the market and parents love it! I was accepted into a farmer’s market here in New Jersey but the vendors fee for the season is $750. I only have one product and I sell it for $4. The market is every Saturday from 9am-2pm. I would have to sell a crapload of packages to just make the vendors fee back. Should I do it? Is it mostly to get my business out there? What if I don’t sell many packages?? Im the only person in my business and don’t have any employees. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much 💜💚

Employee driving liability
I have a wholesale order going to a nearby city, 6 hour round trip. UPS will probably be a few hundred, figured I could hand it off to an employee and pay them w/e I was going to pay UPS because its a pretty decent hourly. Personally I'm indifferent as I'll be paying the same either way. However, I'm leaning towards not doing it bc of potential liability if they get into an accident while on "company time". Is that correct? Are they able to sign a waiver? If my gain is 0 but I'm taking on additional risk, I'm ofc not going to do it -- either way, helpful to know the answer to this for future implications.
