What's a fair commission for an employee who gets an hourly pay rate?
I have an employee who makes a good hourly pay rate. On our slow time, he makes calls to new business to find new work for us. He thinks he deserves a commission, and I'm not against paying a commission, but what I would like to know; Is there a fair rate of 3, 5 or 10% of the sale? Most sales could range from 100 to 2000 dollars. I'm just looking for a common sense approach to deal with this situation.

Does anyone else use Clover for recurring payments and have been experiencing their "glitches"?
I own an aquarium service company and started using Clover to set up recurring payments for clients. Last month, they duplicated a recurring payment 8 times on the same customer. I was only able to cancel 2 before the other 6 went through. A nightmare. They told me this was because of a glitch. Now, my recurring payments for July aren't processing. Call support, lo and behold it's due to another glitch. Am I alone here? And can anyone recommend a reliable service to run recurring payments? It's essential to my business model. Thank you.

Selling a Small Business
Hello! I own a camper van building outfit call Carolina Van Builders and am thinking about selling my business. Weve been in business for 5 years and net about $230k/ yr. I've done a bit of research and scratched the surface enough to be thoroughly confused. A lot of the resources I find are for businesses larger than mine so I am curious what typical course of action is taken with a business of my caliber. How do you value your business? Where do you advertise? Who handles the process/ contracts? Please let me know your thoughts! Thank you

Looking for a new business phone line
Right now, I use Keap (a CRM//Voip) for making calls and tracking my clients. I no longer want to use them as they are far too expensive and have many issues. I am looking for a new business line provider (Voip most likely) that I can transfer my number into. I used to use Google Voice but want an upgrade from them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Personal experience and explaining why you recommend it would be great too. \-Needs to be another line on the same phone. I would love it to be similar functionality and ease of use. I want to be able to text, store contacts (google contacts sync?) and any other features a business line would need.
