Breaking Even after 1st Month

My business partner and I are having a little disagreement on the health of our new business selling e-commerce products. So far about 1 month in, we’re essentially breaking even on expenses vs sales. We both haven’t paid ourselves yet as we have other jobs while we get this business going. Am I the optimistic to think that breaking even is considered pretty good? Of course I want to make profits and scale, etc but I know it will take time. I just want my partner to feel more optimistic about our current situation. Feedback is welcome!

What do I need to do for tax season?

I just incorporated my side hustle this year as an LLC. I provide personal training services, and I am the only employee. I operate 4 days a month, and take in around $1000 monthly, give or take. Most of my expenses come from gas mileage, wear and tear on the car, team apparel/gear, contest/performance fees, and marketing. Is there someone who can educate me on better moves I could be making? I know I’m basically a lemonade stand at this point. Was it too early to incorporate? Where do I go from here? What do I need to do for tax season? This is essentially a hobby I don’t make that much money on; I’m just scratching my personal training itch because my 9-5 isn’t in the fitness sector.

Are USP only used for companies that sell a product? How would a service based company identify their USP? I feel like most advice out there for USP are tailored towards Product based companies. For a landscaping company or web design agency, what would be the step to find/create your USP?

How would you promote high-ticket products from Click funnels organic? I feel like it is more difficult getting sales when doing organic marketing with high-ticket products. Does anyone have any tips and tricks and does anyone request any platform to promote my affiliate link on? The platforms I am thinking about are TikTok and Instagram, and maybe Facebook too. But I guess youtube and Pinterest also are good options. Any thoughts?

Trackers, like airtag/tile, any recommendations? Mostly for assets like tool boxes/test kit.

Any recommendations on trackers? We have gps trackers on the vans but ideally we need something waaaay cheaper. We have tool boxes and ladders which we would like to tag for when an employee leaves them onsite!

I signed up for a free square up account and got the free iPhone card reader. I am now trying to sort out the fees if any for someone using it, I.e processing fees. I keep seeing 2.6%, does anyone know if this is right for just the phone device?

Does anyone own an online business that is connected to an online community?

I would love to talk to someone who owns a successful online business connected to an online community. I am taking over an online business that found most of its success from starting an online following and community. I am looking for advice or hard truths that I need to know about before moving forward with taking over this business. I own a brick-and-mortar that built a fairly good online presence but social media followers never affected our revenue and has not brought in new clients like our social media ads have brought us. So I have never had to interact with followers and I never had stimulate conversation. Any advice is appreciated!

Does it make sense to start off in the SLED market as a new IT business without any past performance?

Hi, so I somewhat recently had a call with a govcon consultant and the plan we came up with just to focus on federal subcontracting opportunities and the SLED market. Being an LGBT owned business isn't recognized at the federal level, but it is recognized in some states. The biggest hurdle I keep hitting is my lack of past performance. Are there any IT equipment contracts for new WOSB LGBT owned businesses in say NYC?
