Personal Checking for my new LLC?
I have just started the process of making an LLC, a software selling company. As of right now, I am set up on stripe to have money deposited to my personal checking. Should I open a business checking account or just keep my personal? I am not planning on making a ton of money at this exact moment, and if I get big, I will just get the account. But for now, can I just have the money go to my checking, and then I can write off the money from my personal taxes and include the revenue on my books for business? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I just don't have a ton of resources currently to keep up administrative stuff, at least until my product starts selling

Should I contact a lawyer regarding a non-compete contract?
Hi! So I am planning on opening my own mobile animal health service company in my hometown. I am currently employed at a location that offers these services 1 town over, about 15 min away and have signed a non-compete as part of my contract. I want to leave this company and go out on my own but am worried they may try to sue? I’ve heard non-competes are hard to enforce in Ontario. Should I talk to an employment lawyer or something now before I get my own business off the ground or wait to see if they want to do anything once I leave? I was thinking the fact that I will be offering the services as a mobile option that it wouldn’t be considered direct competition to their on-location services but not sure if that’s enough. I just don’t want to Risk a huge lawsuit at the start of a small business ! Any help is greatly appreciated

Deciding manager salary
Hi, i am not entirely sure about how to phrase the title, but the just of my question is: Me and a family member recently decided to start a small cosmetology clinic. The investment was done 50/50. But i am gonna be running the day to day alone(expect it to be around 10-15 hours pr. week). Since i am taking on all administrative duties i should obviously have some additional insensitive. I believe the incentive should scale with the growth of the business, but am having a hard time coming up with a correct schema. One would be to increase the salary with certain pre-defined revenue benchmarks. The other to change to initial split to perhapse 40/60 (this one makes the more sense to me, but i am not sure it would go down well with my partner.) Anyone who has been in a similar situation, if so - what did you come up with? thank you

Are the “pay to get an llc” ads legitimate? I need an llc, and I’m wavering between a few options
There’s the diy option, which is unpalatable due to the sheer amount of stuff I don’t know. There’s the “hire a lawyer” which is incredibly expensive. Or there’s use one of the “pay $49 and get an llc now!” Options, which are attractive, But looking a little shady. Anyone have advice/experience they’re willing to share?
