Which industries do you recommend?
This is probably going to be an underdeveloped question, but I have to start somewhere: if you could start a business in any industry, which would it be and why? my wife and I have a benefactor willing to help us start a business. They are suggesting the marijuana industry, specifically a grow operation. I like the idea, but I am wondering if there are better industries to consider. We are both musicians, and are not interested in music-related ventures or a passion project, but rather want to consider more practical options. Any advice is appreciated. Based in Massachusetts

Payment card in name of business only?
Hello, I am starting a website and would like to make payments in the name of my business only (don't want to share my personal identity). However, in my research I am finding that you usually need an individual's name on a business credit or debit card in addition to the business's name. I read that you can get a business credit card with only your EIN (and not also with my SSN) , but I am a brand new LLC so have no credit history. Can you get a credit or debit card with only the business's name attached to it as a brand new llc? Or is there another good way to pay as a business without sharing my personal identity? I don't think crypto or prepaid/privacy cards will cover my hosting/all my use cases. Thanks!

How to keep a physical store/gym space looking new and not worn down?
This might be a stupid question but we run two locations of a gym and one of them has been open for 6 years and the other for a little over 1 year. Obviously the new one looks very new and clean and modern and the older one... Doesn't. When it first opened, it constantly got compliments on how new and clean it was but now it's visibly worn. It obviously needs new paint and we're working with another company to get air fresheners and new bathroom fixtures in but any tips on getting the older location back to that new feeling and keeping it looking new and welcoming? Some professional I should look into doing regular aesthetic maintenance, what kinds of touch ups will give most impact, etc.?

Chasing Invoices
Hello Business Owners, Trying to figure out how the world works. How do you manage chasing and collecting invoice payments? Im looking at cases where invoice is generated with delayed payment terms like net 30 or 45. I run a small hr professional service business. My clients are it service companies and are repeat customers. I generate bills for the services rendered and chase them on due date. Keep doing this every month. It’s painful. Is this is a common problem for everyone? Would it make sense to build a tool for automatic follow ups? Would anyone be interested in such a tool? Your inputs will help a lot. Thanks in advance!!

I know none of you can give me tax or financial advice. But, to the best of your knowledge, how do I go about filing taxes if I live in one state, but my business is owned and operated in another?

Mobile Vending Machine is it Legal?
I have a truck that I park at the edge of my property where I sell bee products and things I make. Now, I am building a locking compartmet system. Each product will be in it's own compartment and will unlock by an actuator once someone has paid (like a vending machine). This is so I never have to stand out there ever again lol. The thing I'm wondering is, if I go out and park in town while I'm shopping or having lunch, would it be legal for people to buy stuff from my truck? There would be no one present so I don't know if that counts as a vendor. I looked at my state laws and didn't really see anything. My city doesn't say anything about selling non food products. The laws only talk about food trucks but I wouldn't be selling food, besides honey which doesn't count in my state for needing a food license. What do you guys think? I live in a touristy area and my truck draws a lot of attention for photos because it's from the 1950s.

If a person has a small business and wants to sell t shirts, coffee cups, little things like that at their shop, do a lot of small businesses get it produced locally,or,are there generally accepted firms to use in USA, or, do they offshore it to China? It is just for things like, t-shirts, cups,etc..?

Now, we would like to find a reliable payment processer which can help us accepts payment from our website across the world with majority of customers from India. To note that since we are a fresh company, we don't have a local UK director. So pls suggest a processor in UK which accepts businesses despite not having a UK Local director.

Logbook apps for windows
Right now I have a few crews and each format writes in a paper calander journal. They write time in and out, employees that worked, what jobsites, and parts used . Then when it's time to bill I copy their logbook and do my billing from that. The downsides is sometimes its hard ro read handwriting and sometimes I need to bill and don't have their book. Sometimes we have to bill and other times we have a contract so I need a journal that records each day. Is there a good app that they could record in that could sync allowing me to view them at any time? I want it to be in a calander format vs just a word document. Any ideas how to be more efficient and organized ?

A Q, and tips please
I have a dumb question. I just snagged a "Poynt" POS terminal. Is it compatable with square app? I'm not locked in to any group too much. Only free package with square and a sales website, but am able and willing to switch Right now I'm selling one-size bagged items at set price, but will expand to many sizes later Any recommendations on sales software, groups, sites, etc. Just starting out with my business and looking for tips. Thanks!

License help
I live in Washington state and want to start up a gutter/roof cleaning company. I have some questions regarding the process and would love some help. Current plan is - get UBI number( i can be my own registered agent but who do I put as my governor? Anyone?) - call department of revenue to register business - get insurance - start working - everything else like bank accounts and setting up paying myself as an employee I assume can wait until later once I’m more set up Is there something I’m missing or anything like that. It’ll just be me not being any employees or anything. If someone has some tips or wouldn’t mind potentially walking me through it so I don’t mess anything up I would greatly appreciate it.
